- In this video, I try my best to break down Goku Black’s Solo Pressure. First, we begin with blockstrings and how to safely end your turn, then we look at what you can do with your staggers, and then we focus the rest of the video on his 5S that gives him amazing plus frames. I don’t really see these good Goku Black pressure patterns often, especially his 5S, but that’s because there aren’t many good Goku Black mains left on the big stage… Pain. I wanna see you guys use these tools!

@@NovaZayn I think it might work on people with strong defense because the stagger looks ambiguous. I tend to do stagger pressure alot so mixing this in may work.

@@aidannunn7502 the cool thing Black can do with CTF is a super ambiguous beam grab due to its low blockstun. Things like 4LL + assist into 214S can work. Not sure if you’ve experimented around with that

I love GB, but he has so many problems and even when you try your best to showcase all of his options he still sucks.
There are so many changes that'd make him top tier, here's a couple:
1.Make his 2L a 6f mid or a 7f low. It has no right being an 8f button which doesn't even hit low.
2.Make his 2M 10f. It's 11f, but c'mon...
3.Make another version of his S button. We have 5S, 6S(which is faster), so make a slower version of this ki blast(not 4S, because it's reflect, but something like 2S) and make all of the S buttons nonsuperdashable.
4.Change his DHC Super to Holy Light Grenade
5.Make all versions of God Slicer nonsuperdashable and make the M version connect midscreen during a combo.
6.Make all versions of Fierce God Kick overhead and plus on block(+4)
7.Make God Slicer Dance knockdown the opponent to the ground when used in the air using a down motion on d-pad or analog. It'd would help with connecting other supers.
8.Make Binding Black Kamehameha a 20f command grab everywhere(when you're fullscreen, pointblank or midscreen)
9.Increase the range of 5M(hits roundstart)
10.Make his j.S more like Base Vegeta's or Blue Vegeta's.
11.Make his A assist 30f of startup and 33f of blockstun
12.Make his B assist 40f of blockstun and make it go for at least half of midscreen
13.Make his C assist 45F of startup and 40f of blockstun
14.Make all versions of his teleport performable in the air
I agree, but I think you’re asking for TOO much. Hopefully he can get some of these though!!

I completely understand where you’re coming from dude But Black was Sacrificed so Bardock wouldn’t be out Shined I really appreciate the thought he deserves all of this stuff seeing as he’s been in the game state since his nerfs an has had one meaningful buff with S being chain able into H

I’m sorry but people don’t respect Black enough to let him Successfully stagger like some of the things you’ve done it’s like common knowledge that he’s bottom of the Barrel IMO I wish he was a DLC because then they’d actually care about how good he was this character clearly wasn’t made for Longevity they’ve implied that by actually taking away power from him in the beginning of the game Also I’ve played him since the beginning
Everyone thinking that he’s “bad” is why everyone just blocks. I’m not sure who you fight, but I’ve experienced the complete opposite against stronger opponents: they just block Black all day because he doesn’t have the best mixups.
I think you’re confusing what “staggers” are: staggers are MADE for people who don’t respect lol. If they always mash, frame trap them, if they reflect/DP bait it out. You don’t need this video for weaker opponents who just mash, watch my overloading video.
For stronger opponents who understand pressure & those who you can’t open up easily, that’s when you need to incorporate these advanced concepts. This is literally what I do to strong players. If they’re weak, I don’t need any of this (maybe the dash blocks cuz it’s super safe)
Simple pressure, “respect” and staggers are universal for every character in the game
