- PLEASE watch my other video first for context. This video shows my set up for facing Omega. I also go through some other tips for the boss in general. This is my first post-commentary video so I apologize for any errors or mistakes. Hope you enjoy the video!

So your setup is rare metal, which you only get... after killing Omega. A bit weird for a guide about killing omega xd
Yeah, I should have mentioned in the beginning of the video; that the rare metal I used was replaceable for players fighting Omega for the first time. In my first fight with Omega, I used items that boosted my attack as much as possible, but other players might prefer another item.

@@nathanc2681 haha thanks a lot. Im level 93, Yesterday I equiped two royal weapons and a normal weapon and lightning magic, and tried to fight him. My surprise is that Im not ready at all xD Normal weapons didnt damage, royal weapons made a ridiculous amount of damage, only lightnin worked well. In 15 minutes I amost didnt move his ife bar. So I quited. Its gonna be hard xD
@@nathanc2681 What would you suggest when one doesn’t have rare metal?
@@BlackWolf41529 You can use the dark matter bracelet. It will only be a slight increase though. But the beginning fight with Omega will always take a bit of time to complete.
Thanks man, I got Omega in 30mins because of this. Before I followed your tip I was playing Omega for like 1.5hrs before the game crashed and its life only went down to 70%. Big thumbs up to this tip

thanks for the guide, managed to kill him first try with it, took me like 20 mins and about a ton of elixirs and phoenix downs. good thing i had like 99 of everything going into the fight.
I've never seen someone's strength so high. That's impressive. I wonder if I can reach those numbers at level 100, where I'm at right now, or is 20 levels that significant
how did you get the armiger that affects the tech bar?
Took me over an hour to kill Omega for the first time. Can't wait to try it again. 😂
Been playing this game a few weeks now (late to the party, I know) and have known about this fight only a day or so after checking up on the trophy list. Guessing you can go straight from the last camp here to get the meal buff. Beat this thing today, but was a bit annoying as I’d knocked about a quarter of its health off and I got bounded out of the fight zone and had to start all over again.
That must have been incredibly frustrating to get bounded out of the Omega fight. When it comes to the meal buff, I go through and complete as much of Insomnia as I can before the last boss, while avoiding Omega's area. After, I go back to the past, find the nearest camp and cook the meal, then travel back to the present with that current meal buff on.

How did you get Rare metal in your loaduot if it is only drops off by beating Omega? What you recommend instead of Rare metal to significally boost attack?
I got the rare metal from beating omega in an earlier playthrough, which I brought over in a second playthrough. Other than the rare metal, you can use the 'dark matter bracelet' or the 'blue diamond bracelet'. Another rare item you could wear is the 'Magitek suit' or 'Magitek suit V2' from fighting the MA-X Angelus-0.
@@cloudysaku I didn't need more hp. All I needed was the clairvoyant effect for guaranteed critical hits.
Did you use chapter select? Can I return here to fight Omega after finishing the game with more equipment?
You can use chapter select to fight Omega again with your current equipment.
What accessory can I use if I dont have Rare Metal??
You can use any other item that raises your attack as much as possible. When I first fought Omega I had used the Dark Matter Bracelet to enhance my strength.
how do i get rare metal ... if i havent yet beat this omega ?
The rare metal comes from Omega, so you have to defeat it first. I have the rare metal with me in this playthrough because I brought it over from my first playthrough.
What dish can I use if i don't have the Sushi?
Marrowshroom Chowder or Golden Tail Soup. Those two dishes provide the Clairvoyant ability to guarantee critical hits. If those two can't be used, then you're going to have to use a dish that provides an attack increase.
Is there an alternative for the rare metal? I don’t have it I have the rest of the item except the rare metal.
You don't have to fight Omega with the rare metal. You can equip the items that give Noct and the party as much attack as possible. It's only when you beat Omega for the first time, you'll receive the rare metal.

@@silentoni8984 You probably have to restart the chapter and fight him again. Omega's fight has some glitches unfortunately.

How did you do the armiger thing after using enhancement
Sorry but what did you mean by this? I had my armiger bar full so I could use it immediately after using Ignis's enhancement. I also use the muscle stimulant and Prompto's piercer before using Armiger as well.

Where do i get rare metal ?
You get it from Omega. I beat omega in an earlier playthrough and carried over in my second playthrough.
And here goes my idiotic self going at him at level 78, no lightning prep, no food buffs, and the plan being to brute force my way through for a long time.
Can you tell me what food you have eaten plex
Scientia-Style sushi. It's actually mentioned in the video from 0:25 to 0:32. Hope this helps!
@@nathanc2681 oh sorry I didn't notice it, and seriously thank you I finally kill it, of course after glitching 2 times (I used AU and I didn't saw him going berserk, then I went down but i glitched, stuck in the air couldn't use anything, and game over.. this happened 2 times, horrifying glitch.) when I was almost killing it.. but I did it, after 2 to almost 3 hours trying because of the glitch, but I did it. (Lvl 71)

How did you get so many Mega Phoenix and Elixirs?
Edit: Sorry had to double check. You can't buy them.
Old comment: I bought them all. When you get to the endgame of FFXV you should have plenty of gil.

@@vincequijano9089 Actually scratch that because you can't buy them. It's been a while since I played. I'm pretty sure I farmed them by doing hunting quests and Gladio found them in the wild a couple times. And I did reply this game a lot of times thanks to new game plus. I think you can also trade ascension coins for them but I'm not 100% sure.
So... you can't farm rare metal?
Right, they cannot be farmed.
How are you able to even deal damage?
I mean, anyone can deal some damage to omega by the end game. It's just that royal weapons and magic (electric) do the best damage to it.

I know I'm 7 months late but how did you get the question mark as a spell
Hey, no worries about lateness! The question mark spell is 'Maxicast' which can cast any element at random. I created this spell through merging all the elements and using the item 'Zu Beak'. To make the spell stronger, you'll need to farm multiple Zu Beaks and add them when making your spell. You can get this item when doing the hunting quest 'Feathered Giant of the Firesmoke', which is located at Ravatough - Verinas Mart. Hope this helps!

How do you get that SMG?
I think he comes with the weapon if you unlock the ability to switch to Prompto through the Ascension menu.

@@RP101_GD When you switch to Prompto, are you able to see the gun options he can use? In this video at 2:18 I had Prompto switch to the SMG with this gun options. Does it appear blank for you?
Nathan C actually I do have it but how did you deal damage to him with it?
@@RP101_GD Make sure Prompto is wearing an outfit and has items equipped to boost his attack. But above all, make sure he has 'The Clever's Talisman' equipped (it's exclusive to Prompto). It's an item that can increase his stats, and provide him infinite ammo for his SMG. You can get The Clever's Talisman in one of the optional missions in Insomnia during chapter 14.
I don’t have rare metal.
You can substitute the rare metal for another item that boosts your attack.
Well this is depressing. I watched the video a few times to get the strat figured out, then started the game and realized you have things on that I don't have. My level is 110. And my highest strength I can get is 1/3rd what you have 😢
Well I ended up just putting on the best stuff I had and attacked him ruthlessly for 50 minutes or so. Then... He died lol. Faster than the time it would take me to go gather all the stuff you had.
Anyways great video and thank you! I suppose for people who have those items this would be perfect! Much faster than the brute force I had to use.
Yeah, I aimed for my video to be a guide line of sorts rather than something that players 'have' to do. Besides, everyone has their own way of playing. And congrats on beating Omega!
Why you only have 500 lives?
I'm wearing the rare metal item. It drops Noctis's HP while increasing his strength.
How did you get a lower max hp?
When you equip the rare metal it lowers your max HP.
@@nathanc2681 will Vortex weapons work on him? I don't have RM yet so just going to use AU with Vortex weapons if that's possible
@@redquijano7798 I mean, any weapon works on omega. It's just that royal weapons work the best.

I don't recommend using Rare metal against Omega at all, 'cause you'll die from single hit. AU + quintcast = easy win.

Took me four hours....
I'm doing zero damage to him why I'm like level 81
I'd get to a high level and use the royal arms (and electric magic). It'll be easier/more consistent of a fight that way.
