I found Ragnarok sword works the best with the Enhancement by Ignis. Let Gladiolus use Royal Guard while the Omega went into mad mode to prevent damage from Omega. It only cost one tech bar. I did use Armiger at all, and I let Noctis equipt Tech Turbocharger. Craft some thunder magic, will bring Omega quite bit damage. You may also keep warp strike Omega after he only have half HP left. If you get Enhancement from Ignis, you can break the light ball above Omega's body in two strikes. Can keep doing maybe three strikes after that and warp away to avoid being trap in Omega's frozen circle zone... Or simply use Royal Guard to draw all the people together to avoid them stay close to Omega. You can beat Omega in half hour :)
~30min sounds way better than the 1hr20min I sat through lol.

i found that the royal arms and the founders sigil really did the most damage. i would switch it out with the accelerator and when he started running around i would switch to prompto and just fire away. the new accessory for prompto gives him infinite ammo. i went in to the fight using the clairvoyant perk from soup.
I finally beat him after nearly 2 hours and a lot of Phoenix down/mega Phoenix

Took me 2hrs! 🙆all I did was use zwill cross blades on his antenna during his rage mode & right before herose his laser force field, & use oracle trident when he's in normal state. BTW the reward is awesome & worth it tho
I don't know if anyone's mentioned it but you can use daggers to build up your armiger real fast like maybe in a minute or less if you don't get it plus the attack animation is so fast you can dodge in between strikes.
Might be a good idea on this boss since link strikes are unlikely and not that effective.

Lighting is strongest against him. Rag helps a lot
Magic also works on him when he's in that berserk mode. If u got a spell with high potency, you'll do 9999 damage each time. Just make sure u have enough for that since it's a long fight

I guess it's time to put to use all those Ultima spells I got farming the Zu.
If your going to use magic make sure you guys LIMIT BREAK your spells so you hit 99,999 with each hit.
electon with high potency (mine was around 650) with a high magic stat, you can hit a good 22k+

All you need is max out your attack, have the warp sword, ignis with elemental buffs and buff items. You destroy his antenna before he can do anything, hitting with 3k damage. After it broke you can hit the upper body and keep on warping him. If your buddies die in berserk revive only after he went out of berserk. Only ignis for buffs.
Addition: you can warp hit him 5 times and then warp away before the shield comes up.
How do you unlock overwhelm? Also, my damage output is probably half of yours, how do you deal so much damage with the swing?
I got nothing for you in terms of explaining my damage. And for Overwhelm I think it is a skill unlocked through the ascension.
Okay so the Overwhelm skill is in the Ascension under "techniques" for Ignis. Only 18 AP.

I would certainly think so. Anything that can negate the confusion would be helpful.
What do you think about the accessorie you get from him? You can get over 9999 damage but otherwise you are pretty much made of glass. Maybe it's powerful with the new armiger unleashed with royal weapons?
I think it takes away too much hp.

No it doesn’t take away HP I tried this strategy but I often was in danger state which stops arminger unleashed. Thanks for the video btw
The rare metal does take away hp though. I put on the one item you get for killing the mountain turtle that gives 10,000HP while using rare metal and I could not get to 9,999 HP. I maxed out around 5,500. Without the 10,000hp buff I was down to 555hp.
yeah I did the same thing with the 10'000 hp item, but I had only like 1500 hp or something with it. I think I keep my ribbon equipped instead.
How would the tuna sushi work in this fight?
I did Legacy of Lucii (armgier unleashed special) on this omega, it freaking healed the omega 9000 HP! So that's why huh . . . I was confused at first & thought the 9000 HP heal actually for me or my party 'cause it supposed to heal you when you're fighting daemons.
Do we get dark magic weapons in this game? 'cause I don't think I have one
Also, I think changing your parties weapons to non light element weapons seems a must in this case too.

I found if you warp strike the laser antenna with a Thunderdolt a few times it can cause him to go berserk it also does a lot of damage when you do
just beat this sucker in aprox 45mins.. dang it sure was a challenge..

Just beat him with prompto infinite ammo + attack buff from a meal and item attack boost, took me less than 30 minutes
Cool video but someone beat omaga in 9 minutes with the power of friendship no kidding.
Well I’m happy people found a quicker kill method. This was uploaded within hours of the dlc release so I expected better methods to come around soon.

Yes, but no. So level does mean you get more base HP and it gives AP so you can get upgrades but I mean being a high level doesn't inherently do anything, specifically once you get to the point were the only upgrades you can get are 333 or 999 AP.

Doing damage at all to this guys seemed difficult. Probably just going to have to level up a decent amount. If you haven't already, I'd recommend the locked doors in the dungeons then go to Alitissa and go to the hotal guy on the right at the desk since he gives 3X XP

@@OverlordActual oh,because lightning is strong so I am just wondering so my plan can go to work. Noctis has zwill crossblades and gold tail soup and have ignis enhancement,use hunters medal infused to spell,have verve and power ex and alot of potions to have the max health and that way to beat omega easily. Nice vid though.
Sounds good to me. This way released day one so I just wanted other people to have something to work off of from the beginning. I think there are other videos beating him in like 10m
@@OverlordActual I tried, the golden tail soup makes the weapons hurt his normal version. Make sure to have omega berserk mode and then summon. It will hurt omega but won't be that useful. Use a quinticast/ maxicast(does not matter but quinticast helps more) on lightning spell and use it. Gladio is not useful unless omega gets to the bit he can teleport. Failed him because my ps4 said there was some error and logged me out of the game when he was like 25% health. Never again

How do you eat in the present?
...I don’t know how I did that. Can you not go to one of the bedrooms and eat? If not the only thing I can think is I must have ate in the past and went to the present and it lasted that long. But I think you can eat a meal in the present by going to a bedroom.

rather than a challenger, isn't it just a cheese to make the fight longer? the fight itself is not very hard but its armor and some of it instant kill attacks are annoying. I basically spam sword of the Father and use Armiger unleashed for 45 mins.
Apparently there are much much quicker ways to kill it.
@@OverlordActual i know. i watched the speedrun videos but i am commenting that Omega is not very hard, just very cheesy and time consuming if you dont do the speedrun things. It is not very exciting as hunting in Mhw but it is ok.
Oh. Yeah I agree with that. Once you know what he can do it isn't much of a challenge I don't think.

It took me 2 and a half hours to beat this sucker,from 99 phoenix downs and mega phoenix downs I dropped down to like 35, and I am Lv 108......hated this boss fight,maybe because I didn't know what I was doing but damn,was this fight cringeworthy to me,also i accidentaly went out the threat ring and the fucker regenerated his health to almost Half,so I wasted another half an hour otherwise It would take me 2 to beat him.

This took me so long because this was the only boss in the entire game that I felt actually required you to figure out and know what to do to defeat him.
This glitchy son of a tork actually killed me twice, even whit my 99 on every healing item. If he traps you whit that energy shield midair you will glitch into an endless falling sequence, them he will hit you to death and you be unable to use Phoenix Down midair, so the timer will run out and it be game over. Other than that he was easy, especially whit that armiger I picked on the way there.
So where do i find this metallic bastard

3 hours, with no tips, no magic, no food and no boost items on 81 lvl, all dmg done just with father’s sword

I think it was a setting in the software that reduces game volume when i speak so it probably had a hard time. Anyway I did say something already.
