Wow that was so beautiful. Nicole took me to the light house on Tybee Island. She takes me everywhere. Lol those are definitely treasures. The seal 🦭😍 that fish definitely needed Dr Doug 😂. This is absolutely beautiful. I was thinking the same thing that you said about the shoreline it looks like the Pacific northwest. Not that I have been there but I watch a lot of HGTV House Hunters buying the beach lol😅. So beautiful I would love to visit there someday. Glad you are having a great summer Be careful and safe. ❤

The Mohegan Bluff's offer such amazing photo opportunities. From atop the stairs (144) to as you mentioned the rock formations. Coming from Connecticut. I absolutely LOVE going to Block Island.

Thanks! There’s a few different options. Are you going just for a day? Are you looking to explore the entire island or just hit the main spots? Your answer to those questions can make a difference on how to best travel around the island. Usually if I go for the day, I take my bicycle with me so I can cover more of the island. Warning though…it is a hilly island (both up and down hill) so it will exert you. There are taxis on the island that you can hire as well. That adds up after awhile. You can also rent scooters as well. Some people will take their car on the ferry but it’s pricy and you need to reserve in advance. It’s not really worth it for just a day trip. It can be if you spend a week on the island. Some people just walk if they don’t plan to venture too far from the ferry landing. I guess the answer is “it depends”. lol. It will be very busy 4th of July week so take that into account when you travel. Otherwise have fun!
Way to go, typical human behavior. You wanted to see seals then continued to walk up to them until you chased them into the water. No reason to disturb them to that point. Not to mention, now they were not on the beach for other people to see. If you want the place to stay beautiful and see the wildlife then you have to respect it.

@@JeffreyLemos I lived on the island. No one who lives on the island goes to Ballard's, with the exception of getting a pre-boarding drink for the ferry once in a Blue Moon. It's the closest bar to the dock.
