    One of my favorite ways is mindfulness meditation during study breaks. Old texts like the Tao Te Ching and mindfulness books like 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels have helped me a lot, to detach from the high expectations and demands.

      I totally get it! When it comes to overcoming specific fears and phobias, exposure therapy is the way to go. This basically involves taking small, controlled steps outside of your comfort zone. With public speaking, this might involve practicing in front of a mirror, then practicing in front of family/friends, sitting in on a Toastmasters group, starting to ask questions in class (or at meetings), etc., making gradually larger strides over time as your brain learns that the anxiety is falsely warranted in these situations. Simplifying the process a bit for the sake of brevity, but that's pretty much the best way to go about it.

      You definitely can be; anxiety sucks but it is far from unmanageable. And yeah, that little video reel didn't age well AT ALL, did it? 😭
