This was a live performance on the Andy Williams show there was no do overs just his amazing voice and a small microphone. Many artists before and after him have done this song but no one will ever do this song like Bobby Hatfield. His voice was from the heavens above pure effortless, smooth and perfection. Many fell in love to this song and with him ❤ I was young when this came out and to this day I still get goosebumps when I hear him sing it. LISTEN TO HIM SING (MY PRAYER) ITS ALSO AMAZING. There are two Righteous Bros but at times they did solos. Bill Melody the other brother was there he just wasn't singing this song it was a solo.
