Still can’t even wrap my head around this tragedy.. she was only 13! She had her whole life ahead of her and that got taken away in a blink of an eye. It’s really heartbreaking. Same with Kobe, he was only in his early 40s and had retired not that long ago, he didn’t get a chance to live his full life. My heart aches for their family, I pray they have the strength to get through this and heal. Kobe was an excellent player, husband, father, mentor, and beyond many other things. May they both Rest In Peace. ❤️

This is so sad to watch. What Gigi and the other two girls could have become. The good Kobe was doing for these girls is so inspiring! I couldn't agree more....I'm a 40 yr old dad with a 13 yr old daughter and its unfathomable to think about 3 yound ladies lives being taken in a blink of an eye. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this tragedy, but even more for the 3 girls and their teammates that have to deal with this magnitude of a loss.
True. Kobe had a great life. It's sadder for those poor kids. But Kobe was still a young man whose second act was cut far too short. And he left behind a very young family, as did Altobello. Very sad indeed. As I'm watching this, though. I'm thinking how cool it was too be coached by Kobe Bryant.

When I first Kobe died I immediately thought of his daughter who plays basketball and how she would carry on his name. Then I found out that she was also in the crash. Of all the daughters, the one who was going to be a star also. I think she would have been a huge star in the WNBA. People would have loved to see her represent the mamba bloodlines. She could have grown the sport for sure.
I know Andrew. It's so tragic. Losing Kobe is rough, but it would've been easier to deal with his passing if he his daughter Gigi wasn't killed as well. Who ever wasn't affected by this tragedy isn't human. As far as carrying on his legacy, there's a chance either Bianka or Capri will take Gigi's place. The oldest Natalia didn't like basketball. She's a volleyball player, however she's being groomed to run her father's business empire. Perhaps Natalia can persuade Bianka and Capri to play Basketball. All isn't lost. But Damn Gigi was the spitting imagine of her dad. She looked like him and had the same mannerisms and work ethic.
