I'm in the 4th year of my electrician apprenticeship and the safety videos they show us every year of what happens when things go wrong with transformers or anything high voltage is enough to convince me to NEVER try anything I don't fully understand. However, if someone ELSE did it and got themselves blown up, well that's just pure entertainment right there.

The entire thing is baked in an oven for 3 days to remove all possible moisture, the mineral oil inside is also filtered to remove all water and air, then is put under a vacuum for 4 to 10 days until the internal pressure is 3 times less than atmospheric pressure, so if there is anything that puts a hole into the side of the tank, you get the reverse of what happened to the Titanic sub people.

Wrong, furnace is still hot, but the building never cools down during the night during the summer. The few breaks able to sit in the AC almost makes you shiver after being use to the heat and then covered in sweat.
we have a room that we get our welding rods from (Big shipyard and they are ANAL about welding rods/wire) and the temperature inside is so fckin cold that I made them close the window to about a 4 in. opening cause it was 90 degrees and it was making me fuckin COLD!. I hate going into a really cold room when its that hot, it'll ruin you for the day

This is eerie because we had electricians in our building who knocked out the power for 4 hours. And the Texas heat spent no time making us miserable. The Heads made us sit around from 2 PM to 6 PM instead of sending us home. The power came back on but it was still 100+ degrees in the shop. And we saw the electricians walk out giggling. 🤔

Speaking from personal experience: Once you have experienced being hit by lightning, 440 volts isn't enough to give you a hardon anymore....
