Excellent job as always. I tin the new connector pins with a bit of solder to give me a little extra cushion for connection. Just a suggestion, I was getting nervous with that second reheat on a sandwich board. 😅

Well I'm not such a solderexpert as you but I think I can say I have 4 decades of expierience. What I learned I think that it is very important not to stirr or vibrate de solder during solidifying. it will appear as a dull surface and is much more britle. I remelt dull solderjoints.

It's most likely B7000.
there is a precuted both sided tape that goes around frame nothing special :)

NIce video. I have a problem with my A21s now. ive done the old connnector out and bought 5 connectors to try myself again...... so the problem is using flux the connector wouldnt bound with the fresh applied solder. i heated the board some minutes before placing the new connector. Anyone any tips?

i have the same phone note 20 ultra 5g it just stopped displaying my itself but didn't fall down or in water, the flexy and socket seem okay
5:22 this flux would be with isopropyl alcohol. ?
I think solder paste might be better and easier for this kind of tiny soldering right?

@@supernova1163 thanks, im having very big doubts its either the SIO chip or the bios chip (the bios chip pads were broken as I was removing the IC with a 200° max. hot air)

i rarely see u soldering plastic connector from the top. how much temperature ?
he said he was using 180°C low melt solder, so probably around 200°C
plastic connector lower than 240 degs
@@t_Gecko 183C is regular pb solder, not low melt solder based on bismuth or indium, just regular solder.
@@modorangeorge4991 true but still regular pb solder melt around 180-190 when i search for fabric soldering it give this : Solder Temp.:235±5℃ Duration: 5±0.5sec
i guess this is the safest temperature) but on my Tinol it giving 190 temperature of melting but suggestion is 340 - 420°C

You have a melting temperature written on pack like 180c 220c etc... :)

yeah that what we do normaly but in his case he can't.. bcs at bottom is shield cover and under it it have chips
