Just a suggestion - better to fuse the Pellon sf101 to the interior pieces prior to cutting the 1"X1" squares off the bottom. Shape flex tends to shift easily when cutting, so I usually find it's just better to fuse to your fabrics first ;)
    Love your tutorials!!

For squared or boxed corners, a chopstick can help. I always keep one in my sewing kit. You can get a set at most Chinese restaurants, and the narrow end can get in the corners easier than your fingers to push them out. Even if you have tiny hands. But you don't want to use a set that you have used for eating.

Thank you for this. It is a pretty good demonstration. It would have been helpful, too, to show close ups of where you had stitched the seams. I was very unsure about where to stop and start to allow the boxed corners and so was hesitant to proceed, putting all the pieces together (had spent the time making the shoulder straps, trims, cutting out the two fronts and two liner pieces, embroidering the outer two and attaching trim, preparing the zip.....). My much anticipated vinyl records cross chest carry bag lies in pieces as too nervous to proceed in case I stitch the seams incorrectly. 😕
