  • Our autistic son doesn't require a strict schedule, but it definitely helps him when there is some structure at home. We are incorporating visuals on his AAC device throughout his evening routine. We are working on communication on his device and tolerating headphones so that he can enjoy his favorite music consistently.

    You guys are awesome! The water bins is a fantastic idea. My baby is 2 (non verbal). He loves playing with water in the sink and screams when we take him away. He is also BIG on music. Please if you can lmk where you purchased the little water pad Christian was playing with. Thank you and I love your ideas! Christian and Haydee are AWESOME!!!!

      Christian didn’t either! I’ve tried noise canceling headphones and he never leaves them on without help but I hadn’t tried headphones with his favorite songs and it was game changer! He used them this weekend in a restaurant and they were super helpful AND wore noise canceling ones as well for a while. Idk maybe keep trying and one day he may like them 💙😊

    Question did you have a pregnancy complications with the birth of your son? Or was it a normal pregnancy ? Have you ever had geneticist testing or any test as to what is causing his autism ? I wonder if sometimes birth injury could be cause ? Do you ever question where your sons autism stems from ? I’m curious .... my son was recently diagnosed with autism and there no one in my family that has it ? My birth was a bit traumatic my son was born naturally but took long to come out almost o point of a csection. He came and everything was fine. No nicu. Passed all his test. But I can’t help to think that maybe autism can be already start developing in the womb or after birth but I wish there was an answer this autism spectrum. Ugh 🤦🏻‍♀️.

      My nephew was born at 25 weeks. Micro preemies have a 50 percent chance of autism. I didn't know that at the time, but it's a very common cause of autism.

    Does the baby that you are pregnant with have a higher risk of autism

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
      @ROCKNSTIMS  Před 3 lety

      He has had a couple blood tests for genetic abnormalities that came back negative. Based on that I believe there is less then 10 % chance of autism.
