Belief, repentance, and confession are all works we do. Baptism is a work of God when He circumcises the sin off of a person in baptism.
This is so powerfully convicting and loving. Lord, forgive me for being the wrong type of husband.

I loved the 2 + 2 analogy. Belief + baptism = saved but many say belief + saved = baptism. Like the analogy there is only one correct answer. Mark 16:16

I was never under the law. Jesus fulfilled the law long before I was born. I was dead in my sins at a certain age in my life but when I was born again having been baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of my sins, I received the grace of God.
How this message made me realize how much God does love me. It welled up in me just now, I felt Him with me. Thank you Pastor.

I chose this video because I got so much out of the “Right Husband” message. Period.
I asked a dear Christian friend whether this prayer is from the Bible or not.
"Wake up, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Get up! Do not reject us forever".
My Christian Friend stared at me and said, " Are you serious? It can't be from the Bible. God can't sleep, and no one calls him to wake up.
I said, Please read.
Psalm 35 : 23 Wake up! Rise to my defense! Take up my case, my God and my Lord.
Psalm 44 : 23 Wake up, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Get up! Do not reject us forever.
Psalm 78 : 65 "Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, as a warrior wakes from the stupor of wine".
Then I asked My friend - Don't you respect your Bible prayers?
My friend asked to continue this lovely conversation later.
So would this go for pastor/church as well? Example: small groups to get closer to Jesus and other church members. Teacher is now no longer able to teach us due to simply put her sin. Moving in with her bf without being married.(I'm also in the situation) I can understand in a sense how it would look to other people for her to be in a lead role as they say. So I asked well I'm in the same situation and I was told that I'm being shown grace from the church. I'm actively trying to learn where in the Bible it says to the church what rules we should follow when it comes to who can lead in the church. Teach classes and things like that.
