It's pretty straightforward to do a decent job of pushing the grill back into almost perfect shape. Just take the grill off so you can at it from the inside and use a wooden spoon or spatula and just gradually apply pressure on the indented areas and work it back into shape, sometimes with a little bit of complementary work on the outside too. You might not get all of the grill wires perfectly aligned again, but you can get close, so at a glance you don't notice that the mic has had a knock. I've done it with many old Neumanns many times. Just take your time and do a nice job of it!
You should be able to fix the dent. I did. I removed the head basket and using the tip of a drumstick (nylon tip) , I placed the grill on a hard flat surface and gently rolled over the inside of it until the dent was gone.

I prefer the tlm 102. It has a flatter response that’s more natural.
