Folding Facade Panels Grasshopper Tutorial: Part 2

  • In this two-part example we are going to develop a facade panel that can configure by folding. We will look into rotation on a plane and using angle parameters to maintaining the lengths of the folding pieces.
    In the second part of the video, I apply the single panel to a larger facade. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

    this helped me a lot.. but I have one question, what if you want the first floor to be a different length then the rest of the upper floors...

    I have a perforated surface that I want to set as the design for the folding panels, how can I connect it into grasshopper? So that it looks like the thumbnail?
