This was shot with a Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VII, on-camera audio mixed with externally recorded audio.

right? I was about to comment on why he sounded so good and saw this haha. Its hard man... like I love Saosin with him and Anthony Green but I feel like with prime Cove they would have been so much bigger. Cove = More music : Anthony = Consistent live
Well, other than his current band Dead American, he’s sounded awesome with them for a while now. He got his shit together before they started putting shit out.

Saw Cove live 20 years ago... Traveled to NC to see TBS and Linkin Park and Saosin was part of opening day bands.... left a BIGGER fan of theirs than TBS's!!! Christ, he sounds almost just as good now as he did at 21! THANK YOU Cove and Saosin for being there for me these last 20 years...good and bad! LOVE you guys!

Spotify kept playing Saosin for me this month... I never gave them a chance even though Anthony Green is associated with them. Kinda sucks in all honesty, that I lost out on years of their music, and I had chances to see them live. One track popped up and I kept thinking "Thats not Anthony's vocals, I wonder who it is?" turns out it was Cove, I actually like Saosin more with him oddly. Thanks for recording and posting this. I love Circa and LS and Anthonys Solo stuff, I just feel it more when Cove is singing with Saosin.

Can't imagine the amount of pressure Cove was under when he first joined the band. Trying to please Saosin fans and fans of Anthony Green. The man shot his voice trying to get to ranges that Green was able to get to. I love both Green and Cove, both are amazing vocalists and lyricists. So good see see Cove performing live again, he sounds great!

He's a support guitarist since Justin's departure, you'll only see him on live shows. I really hope they'll get Justin back on lead guitar
13 year old me is so happy. I remember seeing them at warped and cove got pissed because people weren’t moving. But he sounded terrible. So to see him in a good head space and really focusing on his vocals and getting that crowd interaction that he always wanted is awesome.

Thanks to the algorithm I found this. This was one of my favorite bands when I was 13. I still love these songs to this day. What’s the dynamic with this band now? Does Cove play random shows or is this a one time thing?
Cove left the band in 2010 and in like 2018 his new band opened for Saosin and they had Cove come out for the encore and sing a song or two with them. Since then his band has opened for them several more times and there have been a couple of times he did a special guest spot. But these two shows in Garden Grove were the celebration of 20 years since the release of Translating the Name as well as the first Saosin show, so they played a special super long set with a few guests (including the original founding bassist of Saosin) and started it off with the return of Cove doing this 'opener' set, followed by a few songs with Chris on vocals, then about an hour or so with Anthony to finish the show. Officially, Anthony is the vocalist for Saosin and he will continue to be in the band so that isn't changing. There is a chance that Cove will also continue singing with them. I'm not sure to what extent, but these shows were probably not the last time we see Saosin with Cove.
