imagine being this cool in 2002
and 20 yrs later looking exactly the same. so many people from the 2000s just havent aged
I was. Now I have $3,000,000 and don't work. It's a good time. I just live on the dividend checks. Live in a modest place with my kids and never work again. I drive a Tundra. 46 haven't worked in a decade. Every year I get richer. It's completely rigged. But I was born poor so fuck it.
@@nilfux r/notbragging
@@Chronically0nline Fuck that, bragging. If you get a million dollars, don't spend it. Do this. Working is dumb.
@@nilfux no one says this in youtube comments and is actually serious. lmao. "I drive a Tundra" LOL
Thinking back on those years (Im now 43) , we just didnt know how good we had it with music... little did we know that this quality of rock band would one day become a thing of the past that we now in 2024 need so bad.
you said it brother .. there's still good music out there, but damn you have to look for it
This era of Incubus is almost impossible to replicate. Genius live sound and passion. Morning View is definitely the best album of all time and their prime. IT IS REJUVENATING!
perfectly said : )
Yes, because people get old. I find it strange that all band fans are so nostalgic and seem to want 50-year-old guys to do the same thing they did when they were 20.
@@mikeholand5302 incubus was at their prime from the first four albums. from Fungus Amongus up to Morning View
@@mikeholand5302 i still sk8 and im in my 60th year my dude
Losing Alex Katunich really hurt incubus. Although I really enjoyed most of Light Grenadines, all their other albums (post morning view) dont have the same magic as (fungus, science, make yourself, morning view)
This shit is flawless.
Listening in 2024 is bliss.
Let's not forget about Red Pants Guy. Legend.
Lmao that guy looks like a character from a tv show or something. hilarious
There to see 'pardon me'
Legendary douche.
Dude was getting up on Pardon Me.
After this Incubus concert, Red Pants Guy had to run to audition for Laguna Beach and The Hills, back to back. Busy day.
This is a priceless artifact, can't believe I'm seeing this for the first time in 2024
Also try the at&t session its also a good line up
Exatly dude. This is the golden era. THE REAL INCUBUS.
Same
I would say buy the DVD, well worth it
@@Dil_MoranI wouldn't. I've owned the DVD for 20 yrs now. Been waiting on a blu-ray. This is the first time this is available over 480p.
How the hell has a band as good as this been off my radar 🤔
Because you weren't hanging around surfers/stoners 20 years ago to come across it? 😂
Incubus at thier absolute prime, S.C.I.E.N.C.E, Morning View and Make Yourself all masterpeices. ❤
Brandon's prime.
@@phrenic13 World doesn't revolve around a lead singer my friend. Together they're a band called Incubus and each member pulling their weight respectively.
@@solfidelic won't argue that, but in my opinion, that was his personal best time. But yeah, everyone in that band is unique and make it what it is.
@phrenic13 I will admit, I saw incubus close to ten years ago, and his voice was starting to become higher pitched, but now it's a very uniquely refined sound with the re-release of morning view.
100% agree !!!!!!!
Ah 2002...one of my favourite years alive on this planet.
What was your favorite, 2001? Say maybe around September 10 or so?
Saw them live in 2002... What a fucking great concert! ❤
Prime INCUBUS with OG Bassist 🤘
Im only here because im drunk and emotional.
I understand you exactly
Same!!
Bros. I thought i was shouting into the abyss. Jeez. Try and stay sober! Lift or calisthenics. We can be better.
@@jameswallace4794 I am sober, thank goodness. My condition is more one of an acute affliction of nostalgia. None the less your positive message is most welcome!
Forget these negative comments.
Do what makes you happy.
Man I remember watching this and listening to their songs in high school .Its feels like just yesterday but its been over 20yrs . Damn I'm 36 yrs old now and getting fckin older
Do something with your life .. l0ser
I knew who incubus was, and my old teenage band played a cover of Drive. But i didnt really listen much to incubus. Its 2024 and this video randomly popped up on my youtube, and all i can say is WOW. I have a whole new appreciation for Incubus thst i didnt discover 20 years ago.
The guitar in circles has to be some of my favorite. Mike is so damn good
Incubus will always hold close to my heart and soul thanks to an old friend. One late night during a party he introduced me to Aqueous Transmission and we just listened… god that opened a new realm of sound. This album, science, and make yourself stay in my rotation heavily.
Dude that’s a must Blaze to song! I actually just sent that one to one of my chic friends today, so she could chill and smoke to it what a masterpiece of a song!
Dirk is a beast
I'll give it to these guys... They can play and that guy can sing... Sounds better than the record.
That guy is Brandon Boyd. The greatest human to lead a band in our era growing up ❤❤❤
That PRS Hollowbody Mike plays will always be one of my favorite guitars 🎸
Im 44, incubus and the morning view sessions and album, left a very deep mark on my heart that till this day, just hearing the intro to pardon me sends shivers Down my body and the nostalgia is beyond real, it's a feeling that can't be made, it just is or it isn't. And my God that era of incubus from science (summer romance ❤❤❤ that track just melts my soul still till this very day. And the track that still brings tears of happiness to my eyes decades later?... echo. "Something infinitly interesting" those two little words created something in my soul that I can't recreate anywhere else... thank you Brandon, and all that is forever incubus ❤❤❤❤❤
Girl it literally saved my life may times over. Blessings
I love Incubus. I think their sound is amazing and timing is absolutely perfect. Voices are absolutely heavenly. Any mood I am in is perfect for listening to them. I love and adore the whole group. The sound so out of this world together. When my husband used to abuse me, I would put on this album and drag my huge stereo in my bathroom and get in the bathtub and listen to my 2 incubus cd's. It was clear my head and I would feel like I could really fly and no one could ever hurt me again. I was 16 years old and my husband was in the Navy stationed in Penscola, Florida. He took care of me and my Son financially, but he was controlling. He never wanted me to have friends or talk to anyone or be social, but I did make a friend, she lived next door and we went to clubs and concerts together. It was the first time in my life when I could go out, dance, drink, be in the club and be free. Some of the best years of my life. I got to see Bush and Veruka Salt, Tori Amos, Hole, a few more of my favorite bands at the time. This music reminds me of freedom and love. Happiness. So many years I was held down by violence and then he was gone and I was alone. I feel so blessed to have been able to experienced this great music at a great moment in time. Thanks. God bless.
Love incubus so much too, helped me in dark times so many times omg.
Take care
Yep I been there too. Something is off with my soul of I'm not listening to music.
So I saw these guys live a couple years back and they played a version of Pardon Me that still to this day gets stuck in my head. And ive never once seen it anywhere. I dont think it was even recorded. It was one of the coolest live music moments of my life. And ive been going to shows for 25 years.
the acoustic finger picked version?
Brando drinking from the same kind of retro cup that Kurt did in unplugged 💙
Brandon has to be up there as one of THE most consistent vocalists. Every live set I’ve seen just sounds like the album.
Brad and whimole band, Sir, sorry. Please excuse me. Are you ok recovering cancer. Early. Tjabk God he and wife protected and save ypu
.
He's an amazing singer.
I agree, Brandon is very consistent. Unfortunately, he didn't do much crowd work when I saw Incubus live in San Diego. Great sound, great vocals, and I remember having a great time. I also remember wondering if it was their last show or if Brandon might be a bit inftroverted for a "front man", sick, or tired? Either way, no regrets at all.
@@Zen_Is_A_Menace He's always been introverted
So many hits. Here in 2024
I miss Dirk so much!! They just have never been as strong without him; we need Dirk back!! Prime Incubus right here!!! This was a absolute perfect performance!! The intro to “just a phase” is one of my favorites
God I wish I could go back in time, these were the best days of my life🤘
Glass was just perfect. Absolutely filled that place with energy. I miss this band. I'm 36 and I understand why your music changes as you age, but you still get rosey eyed for the early days
Mexico was my go to sleep song back in high school…. But Incubus was the sound track of my life. I even lost my virginity with Incubus playing in the background ❤
You didn’t go to Coronado High School in Scottsdale, did you? Lol.
Red pants guy is such a vibe :D
The epitome of a "bro" haha.
probably the best rock band to utilize a DJ
Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, 311, P.O.D say “hi!” 😂
Deftones' DJ Frank Delgado trumps all
@@beerussama7093 Incubus are better than all of them
My personal favourite is Linkin Park, but they definitely killed it.
And just like that, I'm 16 years old again
I was 13 years old in 2002 🤟

@@Piitaa_Painfor real I’m turning 37 this year but I still feel like I’m into 20’s
Great sound and passion ... Without a doubt, an era and album by Incubus that will be unrepeatable in history.
This was so awesome at the time and still is. Incredible band. Saw them 2 months ago and they were still so good live. It went off. Huge loyal following.
This is unreal. Sounds so good
Been a fan for about 25 years. There's no other band could sound like them
Its amazing how the guitarist can do all those delays live.
They need to bring back that bassplayer
bros in recovery from brain surgery so he might be back
@@nicolaflamelpardon me
@@nicolaflamel not him. thats the og bassist right there
Ya he layer some mean bass lines
I saw Incubus at Lollapalooza back in 2003. Few bands sound even better live than they do on the record and they are one of them.
Me too, one of the best parts of the show. (The guy who kept banging his legs/knees into the back of my chair probably the worst.)
summer vibes
One of most underrated talents
this is one of my favorite live performances of any band ever
This stage setup is amazing, crowd is amazing, band is amazing.
Crowd is LAME.
@@michaelgreene4816😂 are you expecting a mosh pit?
NOSTALGIA!!!
man, brandon is really good looking
SO fine😂 fr
Absolutely stunning. The sheer talent and passion from the bands of that time were unmatched. Incubus truly brought something unique to the table. Nostalgic for those unforgettable days.
LEGENDARY BAND ! JOSE PASSILIAS - the best drummer !!!!!
One of the coolest bands and one of the best sounding drum sets.
GODS of our ERA❤
Oh man.. this brought some stuff back
God, Jose Pasillas is a brilliant drummer. Not sure if I'd consider him underrated but definitely overlooked. He was a big contributor to me getting a drum kit when I was 12-13!
I had this on DVD and would watch it on repeat when I stayed home sick from school
7:26 the drum fill and the smile it gets from the bass player after the hit. Pure.
I love the intimacy of the setting. What a treat for those who attended!
Sailing Catamarans Is Every Nautical Captain's Ecstasy
S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Incredible. Man… the raw talent and heart from the bands of that era. Incubus really was something fresh. Miss those days.
The most underrated band i ever seen
im 3 minutes into this video hearing the band for possibly the first time and I tend to agree with you already
I always loved drive when i was as kids but never branched out past their radio hits…. Watching this I’m realizing i missed out on a lot of good music….. and thirsting after the lead singer 😂
Underrated if you're living under a rock. 10,000,000 listeners per month on spotify, underrated is more like Porcupine Tree.
@@marc-etiennemercier6584 wow just heard of incubus for the first time, lucky you they have a lot of good music enjoy!
Peak Incubus!!!
Peakubus!😃
I'm proud to say that I own the DVD :)
Did you do anything with your life or just kept playing video games all your life?

i watched this dvd so often, if it would be an vhs, it wouldn't be working anymore 😂😍
Me toooo!! ❤❤❤❤ in my teenage bedroom all melancholy for every word sung a million times over easily I'd heard morning view over the dedecades. Nostalgia at its best !! ❤❤❤
This reminds me how good life was in the late 90's. The final death rattle of the monoculture.
That rattle lasted well into the 00s as Western monoculture didn't fully disintegrate until the Obama administration and has been on the slippery slope to oblivion ever since. Sadly, culture is now much worse off being truly fractured.
@@adellis24I blame social media
Gives me hope to see all of us reaching back for it now though...
Right.
@@EnDependance123 we just got slightly distracted lol
That Obey shirt hits hard man
Man, I am a new fan of Incubus and this is a hell of band !! Late 90's/early 00's Alternative music was very goated.
the recording of this is 10/10
One of the best live performance
So much nostalgia it hurts! When this DVD came out I watched it on repeat for about 2 years. Looking back think this was the best time of my life
Such a great voicalist
Dirk
I’m only here because of how incredible this album still sounds just like the first time I heard as a teenager …and for the red pant guy too.
incubus fforever!
Couldn't even tell you how many times I watched this dvd growing up. So insane to see now this long later
They were really nice back then. Later on they did only relaxing love songs. This Rock, Funk and melodic rhythm songs were the mark to their style, now they would be remembered as one of the bands that would have been more big that they were ending been.
I didn't even remember that first bass player anymore. This recording is priceless. Thanks for posting.
This is my favorite band of all time
I can’t listen to their songs forever until the end of time! They are my comfort
Red pants guy put on an incredible performance. Incubus did pretty good too.
Watching bc of Morning View XXIII. Gahdayum, how time flies…
Me tooo!!!❤❤❤❤
Holy shit the mix on this is fantastic!!!!!
Long time fan! I saw them right after Dirk left and Ben had just started with them. The show was great but it’s amazing how different they sounded. Their rhythm section is so out front that the band changes with every new bass player. I would have loved to have seen them with Tal. ❤
Siempre sera un regalo escucharlos, viva por siempre INCUBUS
sound that is still modern today
This session brings back all the feels for me! Incubus is so underrated. This is amazing ❤
What a beautiful song❤❤❤
Experience the warmth before you grow old cause you will grow cold in everyway possible way. Amazing lyrics Brandon
They should offer that bassist whatever he wants to come back. Such a better band with him than without.
100%
He had a brain tumor.
I stopped listening after he left. U could hear the difference.
Hard to listen to without becoming a total clusterfuck of emotions. Certain times of my life was accompanied by this album. Some of my best. Some of my most painful. I killed my enormous ego years ago. I now know I was wrong. I was too stupid, young, and prideful. If I only knew then maybe I would have woken up next to you this morning? Fate is not up to me, cos this morning I awoke to who I’m meat to be with. How fucking cryptic was that? Damn!
SUCH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC ❤❤❤!!!
I remember being 22 when "Pardon Me" came out and I couldn't wait to turn 23 so I could sing this song (and mean it). Ha.
Wow such an amazing performance.
SCIENCE, MAKE YOURSELF and MORNING VIEW are my top 3 Incubus albums. First heard SCIENCE in 98.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL ART ❤❤❤!!!
The best at their prime!
Thank you thank you thank you
I saw them live 3 times and they exceeded expectations every time. Buy tickets and see them live they will give you a show your money deserves every time.

The snare of Incubus, is like the bass guitar of Korn. The band doesn't work without it
