Got to keep something in mind that this was live. That’s right live without any aid from any equipment just the raw beautiful voices. Of course my stand out will always be George. He had such a beautiful tone that made his voice so incredibly velvety. It’s pure perfection to me.

I remember as a young teenager singing along with Elton John in all his songs, but when George Michael came out with this I was like DAMN!!! This is one of my favorite duo performances of all time too. The voices, the harmonies...it was spiritual! Beautifully orchestrated and brilliantly sung! 👏 BRAVA ❤🎤🎶🎹

I haven’t heard this in ages and I had chills going up and down my arms. Their voices blend together so well, that was magical. I still think that Jimmy Barns and John Farnham’s duet “when something is wrong with my baby” live version on “Hey, Hey it’s Saturday” is still the best I’ve heard. The first time I heard this I was driving to work and it gave me chills then. Great pick and reaction💕

And george did the background vocals.....sadly deon past away at oktober 11 ,2021...at the age of 65 🙏 you sut watch sometime
In a time when 90% of the music is just garbage, there actually was a time not so very ago when artists like George Michael and Elton John made some of the best, most heartfelt music in history. Auto-tune and lip-sync were unheard of and not needed, because real voices and instruments ruled the day...Many of today's artists might be remembered for a decade or two....George's and Elton's music will be listened to as long as there are people still around to hear it...RIP George!
I totally appreciate the fact that you do not interrupt a song while you’re listening to it! It’s so frustrating when people stop it when I know an amazing part is about to start and it’s just it gets deflated because of the interruption. So thank you for that. There are so many great singers and duets, this is right up there in my top 10 which probably has 30 or 40 songs in it lol.

Amazing. Two legends killing it. Chills every time with the song. I really want you to watch this live video you will get so much more out of it. Song written by Elton John in 1977 and he had a huge hit. George re-recorded it in the early 90s and another huge hit. This was the last concert of one of George Michaels tours and he invited Alton out to sing it together. Shows off Michael’s vocals like never before. This was surely a moment. They also performed together at the Academy Awards or Grammys can’t remember but the exquisite writing talent of Elton John is also on display. Great choice.❤️❤️❤️✌️

It's such a shame you couldn't see them on video, just on photo. Never mind, I have seen this video many a time!! Met Elton (Sir!) in 1972, I was 12 yrs old but amazed to meet such an incredible person with Bernie Taupin & the band. My brother asked him for his autograph, he's 5 yrs older than me. What a lovely man he was, what with his personality & ofcourse his genious singing & amazing piano, just fabulous!!!

George wrote a song for Elton back in the early 90s. Unfortunately the album it was to feature in never came to fruition because of his dispute with Sony. I have heard it, and it is absolutely stunning. George was a phenom in the music business. Aretha also wanted him to write and produce for her too. Just the fact that George not only sang with Elton, but also with Mary J, Whitney, Aretha, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney and many more tells you that he was a world renowned musician. He wasn’t only Wham! or Faith. He was so much more than that. The albums that followed 1987 are truly his best work. And what a voice, oh that voice! It just got better and better with time.
Actually saw Elton john live in Blackpool. Poxy shitty crap northern weather meant the concert was cancelled midway through. Dont let anyone tell you england is glorious in the summer 🤣🤣
