Milton and Lydia were my favorite couple. I just love how they balanced each other. Lydia loves and wants love so much and i feel like i can trust Milton to truly love her for her and she has such a big heart i know she won't take him for granted. It's just perfect. I love how Milton did not let outside noise distract him. For someone so young to have such conviction is something i really admire and i think its a blessing.

I love love Milton and Lydia...!! i really do not understand the unsolicited hate that they get. Their storyline is so beautiful!!! beating all the odds... they seem so in love and can't keep their hands off each other!!. i watched their wedding 3 times. Yes the season was boring, and I fast forwarded most of the other storylines. but i think this season was meant for Lydia and Milton to happen, am really hoping that they make it, everyone deserves to be happy. Oh and by the way they look/act like the perfect casting if the Big bang theory had a Latino and African American couple.
Lydia is a snake in the grass! She befriended Aaliyah with ill intentions. She's also rude and overbearing. When she initially met Milton in pods, she constantly called him a nerd. Then, she wanted to shed tears when Izzy dumped her saying she doesn't understand what she's doing wrong. Milton has some kind of disdain for his family, and he just wants to show them that he can make his own decisions. It has nothing to do with Lydia. Do I need to go on?

If youre pro these two and shipping that, you have no clue what youre talking about(odds are probably single as well). Sure they have things in common, thats nothing, but they are FAR from compatible not to mention she is crazy! She DID stalk Uche, she DID know he was going on the show and went after him(& you can see how thirsty she was for him in their intro date, she was PRAYING they could start from zero). He shot her down, she went for izzy and only pursued Milton as last resort, girl needs help, her biological alarm is clearing enhancing those toxic characteristics. And GTFO with Uche cheated on her so stalking is an acceptable response, if he did, he's a damn hypocrit but an acceptable response is ending it, not stalking dude at his house, going through his shit, stalking others he follows on social, etc(and her response, ie get crazy and unable to have a conversation was all you needed to know that thats exactly what she did, lies lies lies)..Milton seems like a good guy, smart, got a good head on his shoulders, sky is the limit, dont do it my guy.

I think milton is just an easy going person who doesn't like drama. Lydia on the other hands is just an all in person she gives 100% to the person she loves. I like his personality.

@leggyReid4c shouldn't that be two-sided. It's a fact that arranged marriages work, but this one was wrong of her. However, I hope they can make it work. Milton is a great character.
@@lovebug2662 He wasn't forced into it. They both wanted to be married. I'm just saying sometimes the one for you is not always obvious. The ones who seem perfect just might be the wrong ones. Since we have limited information about who will turn out to be right (given that people change and can hide their true colors for as long as they want) i think we should be open minded to more options/ possible "right matches". I do think he is a great guy with a big heart but so is Lydia. She's just more open with her needs or wants. She probably mirrors his feelings and that might be why he loves her. I do not think she will falter in her loyalty .What i like about him is his ability to cancel outside noise. You don't find people with conviction anymore. Everyone is so unsure about what they want and so easily swayed by social media or family and friends. He wasn't, i love that trait.Time will tell i guess.

Lydia saying that she will only allow the kids to speak spanish ay home is really wrong. Kids in mixed marriages should be alloed the husband's languages
If the kids live in the US, they will speak English by default and so the best way to learn the non native language is to speak it only at home unless Milton speaks another language apart from English.

@@ssr6731 They don't need to speak both English and Spanish at home. My dad did the same thing, and I'm so thankful because I learned English at school and used it daily outside the house. I didn't have anyone to talk to in my native tongue. I would have forgotten my mother tongue had my dad decided to let us speak English at home.
