This series was so frustrating.
There were elements i really liked, such as the action, sets, costumes, and covenant. But there was also a lot of stuff I really didn't like at all, such as the writing, some of the characters (Kwan), story choices, the way the chief was portrayed, etc.
I hope there is some major improvement for season 2 because I love the franchise, and season 1 had potential.
Can't have Chief's level of toxic masculinity contaminating our children, now can we?

A show written by people who didn't care for the source material and ruined the opportunity to make one of the best video game adaptations of all time (considering the prop department for the most part was on point with the designs). If you haven't read it the leaked script for the old proposed movie adaptation of Halo CE do so, it beats this hands down and it was only an early draft.

How hard would it have been to convert the first three halo games, or the first three and reach into a season per game? Why did you feel the need to take a well established and loved franchised and destroy it? The writing was so bad in this first season I literally felt part of my soul die when it came out.

Funnily enough I have just finished another watch through of this and really enjoyed this series. I hope there will be a season 2 soon.

Shouldve kept the helmet on, to be honest he doesn’t even catch the same umph as the original chief but id still prefer him like that. Like a younger new version we didnt get to see, rhat talks a little more. Not a lot though lol

I was pretty upset that there were only six episodes. It felt like just as we were getting into the good parts of the story, it ended.
Always leave them wanting more.
