Greg Stover Mx5/Miata is the modern 32 Ford IMO. Cheap, has a fair stock motor, lots of junkyard parts to swap, many styles of mod possible plus it’s a roadster. Hotrodders from the 50’s today would all be building these or Hondas or LS swapping everything! All about going fast. Guys like this are rodding for sure.
I race with guys that have over 300hp in front wheel drive. I always thought that was useless but they're faster than my 200hp. Tom has a 400hp LS3 in his Miata
Yeah, but Taytay's failure rate is laughable with that LS somehow. He just throws shit at the wall and hopes something actually sticks. Graigory is actually trying to do something innovative, totally different.
@@bandwagon240 Tom from Toms Turbo Garage. He did an LS Miata kit. 5 years on and it's still good. But Tom goes WAY over the top making sure everything is right. He even torques the bolts holding the battery strap in
lol, he could probably unplug 3 coils, stuff a potato in the exhaust and put a piece of wood over the turbo inlet and he'd still dumpster my stock 1.6L.

Cause they dont need a drivetrain swap to hold the power he's making and then the gear ratios actually work and the chassis is all fancy multilink and wont get overwhelmed.
@@VuBeClan how much boost you pushing? 👀 of course the drivetrain will tap out eventually. But i feel like as far as putting that power down in a composed fashion, the NC chassis is superior to possibly all the others including ND.

Those are INSANE acceleration numbers!!! Congrats on achieving them, I imagine those improvements you made to the car made it much more enjoyable and easy to drive in any situation. I saw the same thing in my old MSM, where the gearing (and lower redline) held me back in terms of acceleration, compared to my buddy's NA that revs to over 8k
