- When the heat wave hits and it’s 1000 degrees outside, style is often the first thing that goes out the window. Summer isn’t usually the preferred season for fashionistas, given how hard it is to flex your style game when you’re limited to a single layer of clothing. But I like the challenge!
In today’s video we go over 10 summer essentials that will keep you looking fresh even when the weather doesn’t follow suit.

Pima cotton handkerchief
No show socks and a dressy minimalist watch. A watch should be worn all the time, but in summer the dressy one is the right essential choice imo.

I'm in southern Arizona. This video is relevant to me for 9 months out of the year lol always have been jealous of people who can still lightly layer clothing in april and may.
Living in South Florida, dressing ultra casual is the most practical and comfortable. Lots of Linen and cotton.

Common Project sneakers are the best! They fit perfectly.

If you are looking for some quality and minimalist shoes, i think you can take a look to the "Stan Smith" model of adidas, they have it in a white color and it looks simple but great.
I've kind of grown out of Stan Smith to be honest. While they look great and are an undeniable classic, the leather quality is not that great and I've gotten a bit tired of its aesthetic. Nothing against them though! Just not my top pick right now.

For sure! They're the royalty of white sneakers, but a little outside my budget right now.
I'm from Sydney, Australia and while it seems weird, this video is actually pretty helpful. Winter here doesn't really feel like winter and more like autumn/spring. So, I think the summer weather will be just around the corner.
Yes! I used to live in Australia last year and the winters are pretty smooth. Hopefully the weather gets back to its regular hot temperatures soon for you guys 😊
i´ll go with some air force 1 or some adidas samba those are great white sneakers and not expensive also the achiles low if you have some money to spend
Those are definitely two extremes in terms of price and quality! Def agree with air force 1s and sambas being classics 👌 CPs are great but a little outside my budget at the moment. I've found a good middle ground these days with brands like Oliver Cabell.

Possibly a stupid question here but I like the look of chinos/dress pants with a crease ironed in. When you buy a pair of pants should it already have the crease set in, or are you supposed to iron-in the crease? Lots of chinos are flat front these days too. Not sure if you can just iron the crease in to turn them into dressier pants.
Not a stupid question at all! If I want pants with a crease I generally look for the crease when purchasing them, as those are the models intentionally made with a crease and will tend to look better than if you iron a crease in pants that didn't have it. And then I will make sure to keep ironing the crease every time after I wash them. Hope that makes sense.

When I'm still a kid I feel jealous with other people that live in a country with 4 season. Prolly another hollywood fault I'd say.
Now tho after I've experienced it meself in me travels, thank God we only have 2! First thing first that mean less wardrobe to worry about, we don't need to deal with the damn cold and snow either. That mean less energy consumption.
All in all I'm very happy and grateful with the place I'm born and continue living now, you guys can keep your fancy seasons ladies and gentlemen. I don't want to deal with that problems ever again if I don't have to.
