@@LetMeMuseWell that’s nice, a real nice thing for you to feel. What I (and our web host) am trying to get through to you is second chances are never just given in football. In a few weeks hundreds of kids like Cormani was last year will be in the mix.
That right there means that the road for Cormani will be that much more difficult. He played like utter crap last year and he didn’t impress any of his coaches. Why do you think he wasn’t snapped up out of the portal? A player that has acted like him gets a tag, a tag that reads UNCOACHABLE. And coaches don’t want to waste time on players like that.
They want players who do what they are told. They want players that go to ALL meetings. They want players that do film study. Word on the street was he wasn’t that player at Colorado…
You can’t blame Coach Prime for him not doing well. If his play last year was better I could maybe think that maybe the coaches and him didn’t get on. But he played like a high school player, and he was in college.
He is also scrawny. He probably should have been redshirted and given to the strength coach. A good diet and some hard work in the weight room would do that boy some good.
So yes he has a second chance. We will see what he does with it. Oh and he is not a “kid” anymore. He is a man, and with NIL he can be a well paid man. Definitely not a sweet boy.

Well first of all he was only a freshman, and he's a teenager, Colorado had became more than a football team, they were almost like a rock group, and as a teenager who's been told for years he's the highest grade of cheese and most definitely wasn't being the best version of himself, and as a young man, when he was being recruited, all he remembered was all the fun they were going to have, and for that first month or two, you couldn't go anywhere without hearing about Coach Sanders and Colorado, so I think when things started going south, and he wasn't being player they needed him to be, the honeymoon period was over for everyone, but being a teenager and a star recruit, maturity and work ethic can be difficult for a teenager, so leaving that environment and getting all the criticism, could be the best thing for him, he's still a kid, immaturity as a teenager is not a death sentence, I'm rooting for the young man to become a man, and play great football, except against my Auburn Tigers WDE!!! 😂

You are more kind than I am. High school ball and D1 college ball are two completely different things! If you are a 10 in high school, that equals about a 3 in D1 college ball! So his 5 star ranking doesn’t mean squat till he shows something on the field, and we have seen what he does on the field…
The kid is scrawny he needs to put some weight on. He needs to listen and do what his coaches say.
I want him to do well like you but I don’t think he ever will. It will be up to him to prove me wrong.

@@josebrown5961 , exactly! I want to see the kid do well also but let's be real here. If, arguably, one of the best cornerbacks to ever play in the NFL can't coach you or get you to understand that in order to be great you have to sacrifice, grind, and work hard at your craft, then no one can. Cormani can point the finger at everyone else and make excuses all he wants but last I checked he was the one not showing up at practices, meetings, or the classroom.
He was even suspended for failing a drug test. Kid apparently likes to hit the Maryjane a little too much. Cormani is very fortunate to even be in this position with another P5 program because from what I'm hearing no other P5 programs would even look in his direction. He was only getting interest from lesser programs like HBCUs, etc. I hope this kid gets it right, but we all have seen so many talented young men come out of high school, be ranked 5stars, only to end up bagging groceries at the local grocery store.
All because they were too hardheaded and thought that they knew better than all the other people who were trying to help make them great and who had themselves put in the hard work to be great in their earlier professional careers. Being an athlete myself and playing college ball and having friends who have gone to play professionally in football and basketball I can tell you that one thing you don't want to happen is being labeled as un-coachable by any program. If that happens, it's a rap!

This is going to be a very interesting story to watch unfold. A whole lot of people, including myself, are very suspicious of the whole situation surrounding Dieon Sanders, and what's really going on at Colorado. A whole lot of people think it's a circus and reality show, and think that Sanders isn't really serious about being an elite power 5 coach. So if this kid goes to Florida and doesn't perform, or keeps staying in drama, and gets exposed by another coach and team for being lazy, and being a deva, then it's going to look like Dieon and company were right about this kid. However, if he goes to Florida and balls out, and looks like an elite defensive back, then Sanders and company are going to get exposed and people are going to start asking questions as to what's really going on behind the scenes at Colorado. Now personally, I think Dieon Sanders has a gigantic ego, and has been relieving his career and prime through his boys, and Travis Hunter. If Shedeur, Shiloh, and Travis enter the draft at the end of this season, then I don't see Sanders staying at Colorado. This man is a great speaker, and has an ability to work a crowd and say all the right things, but I don't think he's an elite head coach at all. Either way, the real truth will eventually come out ... it always does. If his boys and Travis do leave and enter the draft at the end of this year, and Sanders leaves Colorado high and dry, before his contract is even up, then I can't wait to see all the Neon Dieon stans start making excuses and trying to give him a pass. Remember, Sanders stated publicly that him going to Colorado was Gods plan for him. And if he cuts ties with Colorado before accomplishing much of anything for that school and program, and takes off to a big, blue blood program, think of what a mess that poor Colorado program will be left in. He's done very little highschool recruiting, and most of his players are transfers with one to two years of eligibility left tops. That program will be left in a dumpster fire, in way worse shape then when Sanders inherited it. If you look at his recruiting level and roster, when you take Travis, Shedeur and Shiloh off that roster, your left with an average. mediocre roster at best, and Dieon isn't going to just sit still and have mediocre season after mediocre season and get exposed. I truly believe Dieon thought that his name and star power would just emedietly result into elite recruiting, and that the best of the best highschool players would be breaking their necks to come play for him, but looking at his first two rankings of his first two recruiting classes, obviously that's not happening like he thought it would. I don't care who you send there, you could get Saben out of retirement and he's not going to be able to get Colorado into the top 5 in recruiting, or win national championships.
