  • Wendy Marcinkus Murphy is an assistant professor of management at Babson College with teaching responsibilities in organizational behavior for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Her research interests are in the area of careers. Her work focuses on mentoring and developmental networks, gender in the workplace, identity issues, and the work-life interface. Specifically, she is interested in the initiation and cultivation of developmental relationships through blended technologies including email and social media. Her research explores the mutual learning that occurs through developmental relationships for the benefit of individuals and organizations. In addition, she is interested in how positive relationships across the work-life interface facilitate career success. Her second stream of work is currently focused on the individual and relational work-life factors that promote engagement in the workplace.
