- This is Semifinal 1 of the Blast Ace Rumble, a tournament featuring 8 decks from the 14th main booster of the Digimon Card Game: Blast Ace. In the first Semifinal, Palmon / Rosemon's suspension control will clash against the D-Brigade / DigiPolice's overwhelming swarm capacity. Will the flower fairies be able to outlast their unprecedented firepower?

It’s kinda appropriate for the special ops Sealsdramon to be the sneaky final ace to seal the game
My thoughts exactly haha
D-Brigade might as well just throw their deck to their opponent's face, Jesus...
I'm sooo looking forward to this support
That’s the general gameplay of the deck 🤣
Got to have that backup
@@slayerrazaro8174i personally want to see the Ryuda version
So I said on the first video that I went in rooting for D-Brigade but ended up rooting for Mimi as the underdog... when I saw what was starting to change here I started getting excited for an upset... and then D-Brigade are just able to pull out even more stops! Ace Digimon are a tricky beast.
When the field went wide, I was thinking there would have been a surprise Nidhoggmon play to return everything back to the deck
Wow. I thought the OG vid was nuts. This was amazing. The sheer amount of shenanigans required to win were insane. From commandramon building a 10+ digimon wide board to rosemon keeping all of them locked down for several turns. This was great. And its always funny hearing how excited rustmarrow gets when playing numemon.
I called it. I knew exactly how this was gonna play out. Sure, Rosemon is good at dealing with wide boards, thanks to Burst Mode, but the problem is that Deputy Chief Tamahime's field isn't just wide. It's constantly expanding with several ways to get , , and . There was nothing Mimi and Yoshino could do.
It was a two-on-one, but Deputy Chief Tamahime played this like a game of chess. Patiently apply pressure, get your rooks into position and checkmate with no mercy.
Is just because Rust likes to build thematic decks, but this would be very different if instead of second Burst Mode a Quartzmon would be there or even a Hydramon, honestly, even with all hits on green cards, Green will be meta on next sets without a doubt
Palmon, "Nothing can beat our power of Sincerity."
D-Brigade (Racks M16)
lmao imagine
At first, when I saw the video was being refilmed due to me pointing out the misplay, I was worried I would get people on my case about affecting the outcome and changing the course of the tournament.
As it turns out, not only did that not happen, but the video turned out to be a much better and much more exciting showing for *both* decks! Rosemon showing off just how oppressive its multiple suspends from BT14 Rosemon can be when combined with Burst Mode’s stun and BT13 Rosemon’s all turns suspend, plus Lillymon ACE having that suspend + botdeck to stop 2 attacks. And then Digipolice showing exactly why it’s one of the top dogs of BT14 with that triple rush off the back of an Overflow trigger. Absolutely amazing back and forth from the underdog and the top dog.
Only thing I have left to say is, while I understand its inclusion for the sake of showing off new cards, just IMAGINE how much more memory could’ve been gained off of those rushes and blocks if the Poison Ivy was a BT11 Poison Powder instead…!
No way man, really appreciate it and I'm sure the other viewers do too! Still can't believe I missed that the first time... I can accept tiny mistakes that clearly don't affect the outcome, but it wouldn't be right to feature a match whose outcome might be dependent on a missed play - wouldn't be satisfying to watch. Thanks a lot!
For those curious, D Brigade had 13 Digimon in play.
Holy guacamole!!
This fight was insane!! I genuinely had hoped that Mimi & Yoshi's garden could put an end to the D-Brigade! Though I find it rather ironic that D-Brigade could bloom farther and wider than a plant deck.
I just sincerely hope that Mimi & Yoshi gain some humility from this and grow even stronger
Wow, 2 rustmarrow matches in one day (technically). Lucky us.
And a more climactic finish on this one too. I mean the Nume-Rush finisher was amusing; but the use of Tankdramon & Darkdramon to exploit the weaknesses of ACE Digimon felt far more tactical and interesting.
Brigade is more than just a swarm. It’s the whole damn hive
Can you imagine if Quartzmon came out instead of a 2nd burst mode? It would’ve been hilarious and game ending 😂
Basically, it's that one secne where Clarkson, Hammond and James are "gardening"
We're going to need some DeathX for these boards!
Haha Leviamon Go BRRRR.
i don't think deathx would matter. deathx will delete a lot of them but their on deletion effects will help swarm more out. quartzmon would be a better option for the palmon deck. we need a digimon/option card that prevents a digimon on deleltion effect from triggering for a turn.
… yep, we need a boardwipe against D Brigade
I really liked the video, it's very well edited and this Rosemon deck, I'm wanting to build one just like it.
Well worth the wait keep up the good work
I was hype asf watching this, D-Brigade really showed no mercy even with the stun against them
You know this is the first time in the vids I've seen of yours that I remember a tie on the starting die roll.
human wave tatics. you might be able to seduce a bunch of my recruits into freezing up but i only need 6 of them being ace to kill you
I really feared that one of my two Decks (Brigadramon and Loogamon) would lose already. So glad that it won but man it was close. Great as always.
Okay D-Brigade is getting out of hand😂. That was the widest board I've ever seen.
This match was SO insane, I can't keep up with Digipolice, too many inheritables
With the Semifinals matches beginning, both Satsuki and her opponents are in a bad mood. Satsuki's loss against Eiji has left her fuming, both due to not being able to knock the hacker out of the tournament as well as being unable to avenge Numemon's injury. Meanwhile, Mimi is not happy about Satsuki's comments about her and her friends, wishing to prove they have what it takes to stand up to the dangers of the Digital World. Yoshino, having befriended the Digidestined before the tournament, is more than willing to help support her sincere cause. Which united front will progress to the finals of the Blast Ace Rumble? The Rosemon Tamers with the power of Ace and Burst Mode? Or the D-Brigade/Digipolice union commanded by Satsuki and its seemingly endless number of soldiers?
tf?
@@lLucaDGV Continuation from previous stuff in this little tournament. If you want more context, look back at previous episodes.
deathxmon stocks going up
Epic battle
So glad D brigade still won but urgh not seeing the origianl Darkdramon as a tech just to be safe hurrs
REUPLOAD due to misplay (thanks for spotting it StarMarxman!), fixed at about 08:53. Do let me know if yall spot any other issues!
This was a rather intense matchup. Although both sides had a fairly equal win rate during playtesting (with slight advantage for the Brigade), most battles were anti-climactic and ended with one side dominating the other in glorious fashion based on luck of the draw or the slightest mistake - whether it was the Brigade overrunning the flower garden before they could find their combo pieces or a sudden Rosemon Burst Mode coming in to OTK the Brigade mid-swarm. For certain board states, an early well-timed Lillymon ACE can render the Brigade effectively helpless, while trying to play around the possibility of an ACE can cost the Brigade the long-term game if their hand is not ideal. Either way, it seems out first finalist has been determined. There is a likely candidate for the second finalist - in fact, it would be no exaggeration to say that Brigadramon VS him is the highlight matchup of the BT14 meta. Still, we won't know for sure who it will be until the dust settles on Semifinal 2...
How is the final Sealsdramon able to attack with an inheritable, I thought you only get those if you were under a stack not the digimon itself? I don't play much digimon so I could be wrong
@@monsay12 The Tankdramon had EX3 Sealsdramon as an inheritable which reads as follows:
[Your Turn] [Once Per Turn] When you play another Digimon with [D-Brigade] in its traits, it gains for the turn. (This Digimon can attack the turn it comes into play.)
Basically, the Tankdramon with Sealsdramon's inheritable gives the effect to the newly played Sealsdramon. So the inheritable effect belongs to Tankdramon, but the target is the other Sealsdramon
@@rustmarrow Ah I see now, I swore it gave it to itself. Thanks!
Does Satsuki effect of reboot and jamming stay on the digimon if she leaves the sources from her end of turn effect?
No
Weird I’ve never lost to Brigade with Rosemon. I feel like Rosemon should have the upper hand because it punishes them going wide. You just sit on Pomomon while you set up.
Are we getting a royal knight tournament? For the bt13 support
Huh? My BT13 tournament is over already
Damn even with the extra leeway palmon still couldnt defeat d-brigade like damn. But question are i going to do like a mini tounament with the ghost game ace cards or and quantomon or just leave them for next time
If I have time, I hope to do it between this tourney and EX5!
I'm just imagining D Bois assaulting Mimi's Rosemon as an unending horde.
SUCK IT NUMEMON, THE D-BRIGADE GETS THE WIN THIS TIME.
Oh man, that ending got even more intense. Hopefully Gammamon wasn't watching, seeing Sealsdramon finish off an opponent might set something off.
wooo 2nd 1st round lets go
Our time has come! D-Brigade gang rise up! 🚔
im surprised how hard d-brigade can go. i wonder if it will become and actual meta deck and not just a meme deck
It's always so funny seeing D-Brigade having so many digimon they run out of space on the board 😂
with the d brigade flooding the fields, there's no way the lilymon can win against the d brigade
The return of Death X is imminent
So, is this the same result as in the original video?
Yep
This went from a crazy finish to a very dark finish real quick.
NOOO WHERE IS THE NUMEMON JUMPSCARE
Just realised I could've saved the Nume from hand for the final hit, but oops in the moment I was thinking way too hard about how to win that final turn
Brigadramon will forever be SWATgreymon to me
Omg Lets gooooooii
Wait you can play the tamer off if hi commandramon???
Yes, it says 'card', not 'Digimon card'
A deck that I want to play is the ravemon, will you have a video?
I have 1 from back in BT13!
@@rustmarrow I already saw the video still there is no more haha
@@adriangarcia733 Not for now unfortunately
If Rosemon burst mode has the power of sincerity, then why does she have the crest of light?
Hoping Loogamon makes it to the finals so he can finally put DigiPolice in their place...
This video gives major Corpse party vibes, where in the first timeline yoshino and mimi has a sweet defeat by the hands of satsuki's numemon
But the second timeline has a much more gruesome death by the hand of sealsdramon and his knife
DAMMIT! I really wanted Mimi to win!
So D-Brigade won, so this doesn't really matter, but any reason why the suspended Satsuki didn't mind link to hicommandra before digivolving into tankdra? Darkdra would have been able to reboot if she did.
Also, shame about having to change the ending. New one was epic, but the way you said 'numemonisplayed' the first time around really hit my funny bone. 🤣
No it wouldnt! Satsuki can only give Reboot if the top card is DigiPolice, she wouldnt work after evolving to Darkdra which is only D-Brigade
I dont know how rosemon lost this match, as a rosemon main this is a delight to play in bt14. I play Kokomon, terriermon and pomu instead of bt10 Palmons (i end always having cards i need in hand); a blossomon and a Cherrymon (cherry is your only defense) instead of liliace (cool but frail and "heavy" in 4x) and lilamon (cool but your play tamer now is togemon).
For the rosemon i love to split, defensive one (bt13) and offensive one (bt14).
Flowering sincerity is too heavy and does the same thing of your burst mode. Better samadi santi if u really want a defensive option. Poison ivy is just too good.
Somehow in fixing the misplay, the conclusion was even crazier than before.
I'll miss the Numemon finish, but the final brigade play was insane.
I know right? For a moment I thought the outcome might actually change, until I realised that last Tankdra play...
Wait i thought you already uploaded it
Had to take it down cos of a misplay! Fixed at 08:53
That was obvious 13 digimon on fields
Based
Is this like an online Digimon TCG?
No its Tabletop Simulator on Steam
NUMEMON FTW
That was a cool ending ngl
Re Up?
Had to take it down cos of a misplay! Fixed at 08:53
yo anyone knows what simulator he uses
Tabletop Simulator on Steam
Looks like the winner is the same
another palmon and another lose, man...
While I'm glad the outcome wasn't changed, I do wish it was Numemon that dealt the final blow. It would be funny if they gave the deck a Monzaemon Ace just for more jumpscares.
Couldve saved the Nume from hand for the final hit, but I think the Brigade really earned that finish haha
Okey so the winner still the same just numemon don't steal it's show.
