Your mom did a good job of preparing the leche flan. Ideally, after cooking the leche flan, you chill it in the fridge for 4 hours or so. That way, it will set beautifully and it will taste even better.

With the amount of sugar, milk and condense milk you used in this recipe, if you used 8 eggs would be more firm. Don't forget to run the caramelized sugar around the sides of the molder to prevent the leche plan from sticking. The 3rd time will be much better. Good luck! 😊

if you want to make more leche flan just prepare 1 dozen eggs, 2 evaporated milk and 1 can condensed milk,

It looks perfect for the 2nd time unlike the first time ....good ur family loves our filipino food..
as you go along you will do it better but first put it in the fridge because it helps to firm the flan around 30-minutes to 1 hour we eat it when cold. salute to your mother she did it this time.

No need to do beating the eggs and milk, just mixe it slowly to avoid creating a bubbles...

The more eggs you put, the better, the thicker it gets maybe 10 instead of 5. And yeah we like our leche flan cold so put it in the fridge for sometime and it will be perfect.

I use whole egg.. it is the same texture and taste when done.. just do not over mix.. and sift it 3× for smooth texture..

Yes, it’s smoother and tender texture
Make biko latik . Basic ingredients very simple. Sticky rice, sugar, coconut milk.... Star anise is optional. Pandan leaves smell better and safer if you over done it.star anise is a bit strong, so easy to over do
