Marciano was a people's Champion, not big or very skilled but extremely tough and focused and determined with a killer punch. A true people's Champion my all time favorite.
@@dennisalloway5788 That's because Foreman was always known for having a great chin; even Louis, in his prime, had many examples of him getting knocked down. On top of that, Louis’ style relied on his reflexes, which slow down with age. Foreman instead used his power, which doesn't decrease nearly as fast with age. That's also why Sonny Liston was still very good at his age as well:)
It’s such a shame that he retired when Sonny Liston was just coming through the ranks, as said no one got to know the true age of Liston. Would of been a great fight, for me I would go for Liston to win. On CZcams you can see Marciano talking about Cassius Clay aka Ali back then, but is there any clips that show him talking about Sonny Liston ?
Rocky vs Ali would have made for a perfect 50th fight and final fight before retirement. When it comes to boxing Rocky vs Ali will always be a dream matchup that could have happened but unfortunately didn't. Thry are both amazing legendary boxers next to Mike Tyson. Cool video. ^_^

Only 2 of those for me, Ali and Sugar Ray. Any other time he came up against the best of his era he got stopped
@@sabretooth5404 Is it because he didn't want to face the best when he was 20? I don't think so, it was probably them who were avoiding him, Tyson at his prime could have beaten anyone, and anyone didn't come during those 4 years, then there were the drugs , his personal problems, the loss of Cus who was everything to him and who made him a killer in the ring, poor choices of his coaches afterwards, etc... the Tyson of Cus, the boxer he shaped was not even complete, imagine if he had been there with him to continue and be serious, Tyson would have remained champion 15 years in a row. For me in terms of efficiency (not counting beauty) Tyson is the best of all time, can put you down with each of his shots no matter which one, all his weight in each of them, plus his incredible explosiveness, speed, and very very underrated dodges… the perfection of attacking while defending at the same time.

@NoRockinMansLand Exactly! The heavyweight division is the most prized position in all sports. The heavyweight division is also the biggest money-making division in all boxing, even if the heavyweight champion is not that good of a boxer.
