  • In this video I demonstrate how to correct a dropped German Short Row stitch.
My video on working German Short Rows (and substituting them in when a pattern calls for traditional wraps & turns) can be found here:

Super thank you! Your instructions are the best! I do not know how many times your videos have helped me and saved so much time and letting me keep up the joy of knitting! This video really helped. So thank you again!

I can’t thank you enough. Brain fog from health stuff has made my latest project super frustrating and having already had to redo several days work, I was very disheartened when my GSRs looked very strange. Being able to drop them and fix them has saved my sanity and my self-esteem. I appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into making such a comprehensive resource library. Thank you again!

I’m always so worried about if I drop a stitch. Didn’t know this video existed but just what I needed to make me more confident on my heels. 🙌🏾 thank you!

This could not come at a better time, I'm teaching my son how to knit socks using your sling heel pattern, and I will need this. Also a fixed gsr looks a lot like a brioche stitch. Just in my opinion. Thanks for the help!

I love GSRs, and I haven’t needed to fix any yet... but you’re wonderful for preparing (me) for the inevitable. Thank you, again. You really are the best.

Can you do a slow motion video of this? I have no clue of what you did. I had to knit back in garter stitch (forgot to change colors of yarn) and came across a knitted GSR, that I promptly dropped. I have no idea of how to fix it. Now there is this hole in that row.

Hi There-- Absolutely love your channel. Any chance you know how to fix a dropped wrap and turn rows down by laddering? I made a grave error that I've not been able to salvage with everything I know, and can't seem to find any resources online. Thank you so much.

Thanks! I work very hard NOT to have this problem! I always set aside enough time to really concentrate on the GSR's it's usually no that big a bulk of time.... but good to be prepared!

Just frogged my entire heel, I was almost done too... Even with the video I just couldn't fix it. I just can't get a feel for how stitches go together if I want to frog a mistake :'(
