I hate Kitchener stitch, it's just so complicated and illogical (IMO), and I've never managed to make it look seamless & neat, no way (I even prefer 3-needle bind-off to Kitchener), but with this tutorial, maybe I need to give it another try ;D

I am having a difficult time transitioning from the brk round to the brp round I just can't seem to understand the transition portion. Very difficult for me...

What I can never decide if you are changing size and stitch ie after ribbing to say stocking stitch do you change in the same row or change needles then stitch

This pattern calls for cable cast on with #8 US needle and row of knit stitches with #15 needle. I'm having some trouble pushing the #15 needle through the cast on. Would it be a good idea to do the cable cast on stitches loosely?

Got a Knitter’s Pride ball winder 2nd hand (looked new in the box :)! and am having trouble with the dowel in the middle- it doesn’t touch the little cone piece so it’s not winding. Is there something the check to see if I can fix this?

My preference is Norwegian knitting. I spent a whole week determined to learn it and am happy I didn’t give up because it is so much more comfortable and less movement. I badly broke my wrist and didn’t pick up a knitting needle or crochet hook for over 1.5 years. To this day certain things in my hand, thumb and wrist hurts, so I am thankful I learned this way. They say it is more ergonomic. I do modify how I purl a little though.

This technique is SUCH a game changer. It makes ribbing go so much faster. Thank you for sharing!

Does it matter which way you wind the yarn on the two turns? Clockwise or counter-clockwise? And also, why does my yarn twist so badly when I’m knitting holding two strands of yarn together to make a bulkier yarn. I’m knitting twenty to thirty stitches, and then spending the same amount of time untwisting my two strands before I can continue with the next twenty or thirty stitches. What am I doing wrong? My project is taking forever?
