I once admired Pence for his actions on Jan 6. These interviews AFTER the release of his book show how self-serving, pathetic, and EVASIVE he is. He does not deserve to run for President or be a President. A real presidential candidate needs to be fully truthful. He is still lying or evading throughout.

One thing I cannot stand about politicians, is they never answer questions. Instead of being straightforward, they have to go around the world in 80 days before coming back with a proper response.

Pence has got to turn off his "speech voice" when he's doing a face-to-face interview. I know he wants to be on point with his message but he's got to be able to put some warmth into his message before he serves it too someone that's interviewing him in this way.
I think he would serve as a good president but if this is the way he's choosing to campaign essentially crawling his way back in a way that's not assertive in a way that's not animated and in a way that is both cold and dry it won't be well received by his party by the other party or by the people in between the two primary parties.
I know he loves God, I know he loves his country, I know he loves his party and I know it's in that order and for that reason I respect him greatly.
I saw how he approaches leadership as a team member second in command. I know he was a governor which means he has first hand executive experience.
I think he's eyeing Brian Kemp as a running mate which would be an excellent decision not just because of the Midwest and South coalition but they both seem to be conservative Republicans with a moderate understanding.
I think in order for the majority of Americans to warm up to Pence he's got to throw more body blows to Trump's madness.
We saw when Trump gave Pence the job to take care of covid and then as soon as Pence was seen to be getting too much airplay Trump jumped right in and we saw how Pence respectfully stepped aside to give Trump all the light that he wanted that was the right thing to do at that time but now is no longer that time and it's time to acknowledge what that was at that time and to show how now is a different time

Truck, I agree. I think anyone serious about running in the GOP finds themselves in this quagmire. They all need wisdom, truth and a commitment to what’s right regardless of what 20% of the base might say to the contrary.
Righteousness exalts a nation and truth ensures to all generations, so falsehoods will eventually die out. The sooner future candidates embrace that and stand against the crazy, the better we all will be.

Playing it straight is not something people in this country are familiar with today. I think he is a good choice based on his experience - especially with Trump; I think we need him - just as Trump did. Look at who Biden surrounded himself with and the result of that. I would like to know who Pence would choose as his VP. Di Santis might be a good choice for balance? Pence brought balance because he knows & understands well the politics in Washington and is willing to stand against the corruption that fills it.
