Congrats! Now I know this item is hard to come by, but if you aren't in love with it because of the quality I wouldn't keep it.
Mine smells so strong too also the stitching is so big if you look inside you can see light comming from outside 👎
Also zipper looks cheaper compare to alma bb purse or other zipper wallets
I am SO tempted to repurchase this again. I had it in Monogram and even Made in France and sold it many years ago and have always regretted it.

Unfortunately unlikely. It's best you return or exchange it.
New design? How? I saw another video and a lot of people commented about the stitching gap at the bottom of the cles that can be seen from the inside. Been on the prowl for this online. Every time I visit a store they never have the DE or monogram available. Only the damier azure one.
It was redesigned in 2014. I don't know why everyone complains about the gap between the stitches and how you can see through it. My older piece from 2012 did the same thing and doesn't even really effect the SLG. Thanks for also sharing that the DA is available in store, next time I want to complete my collection, I'll definitely have to check in.

I watched another unboxing of the key pouch - they are made in USA now? Stitching wasn't as tight in the bottom. Hmmmm.
Yes, I noticed a lot of the DE unboxing are Made in USA too.
Also monogram too 👎 smells quimicals stitches bottom you can see through zipper looks cheap compare with the chain Mine made in USA

Hello, what day did you order this piece? I just ordered mine in Damier Ebene also on Thursday 2/27 and I received the next day 2/28 and it has the same date code as yours which was made this very week. Seems like they were shipped to us, right off the press lol. Mine looks exactly like yours. Same stitching and all. It’s kind of weird because around Christmas time I was with my friend shopping at the Bloomingdale’s and we were looking at the key pouch but on the Damier graphite print and we had 3 in our hands and 2 out of 3 were able to see through the bottom. Only 1 had very tight stitching where you couldn’t see through. That’s the one my friend got, and all were made in USA. Either way, I love mine and I will keep it in my collection. If anything abnormal happens I’ll just take it into the boutique, LV has given me nothing but great customer service when I’ve ever had and concerns or needed a repair
Hi Stephanie, I ordered mine 2/24 and the date code says it was made starting this exact week too, so I thought that was unusual too. But glad to hear you picked on up too and had the same results. I can see a little light peeking through my seams too but my older keypouch from 2012 had the same thing, so I'm not really worried. So happy to hear that your keeping yours too, so am I!!!
Ash XL Reviews yes!! I think it’s the cutest and so excited to use it. I noticed a small smell. Nothing “chemically” though. Just a “new” scent and it’s not bad.
Hello again so I wanted to give you a lil update. My daughter loved my key pouch so much and wanted test my luck again to see if I can order another, and yes I was able to catch a monogram one, was just delivered today and I just inspected it and there is absolutely NO “untighten” stitches at the bottom, like even if I squeeze the pouch, no light shows through the bottom what so ever. Crazy inconsistency, right? Another thing is this one that I ordered a whole week later came with a datecode stating it was made 7th week of 2020. Thought that was odd too that the one I ordered last week had a newer date code.

Theyv'e been making in USA for a while now. Not sure exactly why but I can only assumes it's because of tariffs.
I ordered the 3 of them they came yesterday, one in monogram, damier ebene, and the azur. The ebene and monogram are both made in France and the azur was made in USA. The zipper on the ebene was not smooth as the monogram the stitches were fine, but it had that strong smell. The azur did not have that strong smell, I did not see problems with the stitches as well and the zipper of the USA made was smother than the 2 made in France. I keep it the monogram only because it is I liked the most. Days before I returned one in monogram made in USA that prints of the bottom was not aligned and I did not like that. The only one made in 2020 was the ebene the monogram and azur both were 2019 but I love it my monogram it looks flawless. I will use it like a small wallet for my monogram pochette accessories

I honestly did and the second one looked worse. So I just gave up on the Key Pouch and got something totally different.
@@ashxlreviews Were they all made in US? I’m nervous now because I just ordered a key pouch in Damiere Ebene print. I got lucky with the monogram which was made in France but the print on the bottom weren’t aligned. But no lights coming through the seams.
@@jocelyncassiere708 Mine were all made in USA. The DE was perfect but I didn't like the deep holes in the canvas. I got a MG one later and it was just overall terrible, so I gave up.

Both pouches are all canvas. They are not leather.
