Hi . When u say devotion to allah/god,that devotion to allah/god is based on Sharia around the Abbassid islamic ruler times. The actual arabe quran language, i class it as being in existence before the Abbassids,hence i feel that Qur'an English translations is family with Abbasid scholars.

With Joshua there was a political, ethnic dimension, God was immediate king, and he uses this people as his instrument to accomplish his judgment in the world at that time. And God, it says, let the sins of the Amorites accumulate for 400 years so that they would be full (Genesis 15:16), and then sends his own people in as instruments of judgment. So I would vindicate Joshua by saying that in that setting, with that relationship between God and his people, it was right for Joshua to do what God told him to do, which was to annihilate the people. But that's much more complex morally than saying that God does it. He can cause a flood and kill everybody on the planet except 8 people and not do a single one of them any wrong.
Commandments to fight in the Old Testament are given specifically ONLY to the nation of Israelites at one specific time to specific nations for a specific purpose before the Jews insisted in having a human king like the pagans around them. Regular behaviors among the the enemies of Israel at that time included child sacrifice, cult prostitution, and bestiality. The divine prohibition of these acts was codified, and the acts were known to the Israelites.
In fact, the Israelites during Joshua's time had plenty of signs-the ten plagues, the parted Red Sea, manna every morning, the constant presence of a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. They were directly guided by God. In fact, their contingent is led by the tabernacle (ark of the convenant). All this prove that the Israelites are directly led by God. On the other hand, Muhammad is a self-proclaim prophet without any proof that he is truly guided by God.
If you really want to understand Islam, you have to learn about its history -
* Founded around (570-632) by Muhammad according to the standard islamic narrative.
* Quran is considered supreme authority in Islam
* First Pagan Arabs were tolerant but soon Muhammad started insulting pagan deities and insisted that Pagan Arab and ancestors will burn in hell for eternity.
* As a reaction Pagan Arab placed a trade embargo and ridiculed Muhammad in public
* To avoid Persecution Muhammad and his followers fled to Medina, and he was welcomed there by local Jews and Pagans (622)
* From Medina Muhammad sent his followers to raid merchant caravan of Pagans. In (624) muslim attacked a heavily guarded marchant caravan and took many Pagans as hostages, known as Battle of Badr.
* Soon Muhammad's influence grew and he started Persecuting the Jews and Pagans of Medina, who once welcomed him to Medina.
* By the time he expelled two Jews tribe namely - Banu Qaynuqa and Banu Nadir (624-625)
* And massacred the last jew tribe - Banu Qurayza (627)
* Soon he conquered the whole Arab Way - Accept Islam or Die
And, isn't it quite strange that Allah specifically stated in the Quran allow Muhammad to marry as many wives he wants. And basically, get away with sinful acts.

Muhammad (and only Muhammad) was free to take for himself as many wives as he liked.
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your
paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and]
if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you]
in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
Sahih Bukhari 5134, book 67, hadith 70 also proves that he was a 50 plus year old pedophile who married and had intercourse with a 9 year old. And in Surah 33:37-38 Muhammad is shown to have lusted after and took the wife of his adopted son, Zaid, and so committed adultery and fornication as a result.
Sunan an-Nasai 3959 also states that Mohammad was caught fornicating with his slave girl in the bed of his wife. And, he swear an oath to his wives to not do it again.
However, in Quran 66:1-2 Mohammad later claimed he was given a revelation by Allah to break his oath which forbids him to fornicate with his slave girl.
In the incident of Awtas in which the prophet’s companions captured a village. The sahabah (companions of Muhammad) did not want to rape the women because their husbands were still alive. Then Muhammad received revelation which allowed Muslims to rape female captives of war, even if they were married and their husbands were alive. The hadith is Sahih Muslim 3432 and the Quran verse is surah Nisaa verse 24.
Muhammad did things that even his followers were at first reluctant to follow. We can find in the Hadith and Sira Literature many instances, where his followers didn’t want to follow through with something that they thought would be too immoral until Muhammad told them that it would be okay to do the deed. Here, at the least, we can see that Muhammad frequently transgressed even the ideals and moral standards of his time.
Narrated 'Aishah:
I used to wash the semen off the clothes of the Prophet (ﷺ) and even then I used to notice one or more spots on them. (Sahih al-Bukhari 232, Book 4, Hadith 98)
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3205
Narrated 'Aishah:
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah did not die until Allah permitted him to marry whatever women he wanted."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ، - وَهُوَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَا شَاءَ .
Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)
Quran 33:53 states that if you are in Muhammad's house, please don't stay too long or he might be too shy to ask you to leave. So you should just leave and do not marry his wives.

Which true Gospel is that? There is no true Gospel that exists in our time today. The Gospels have been found to be in many places untrue.

Keep your mind and heart open…set your biases to the side…and then you can explore what many other former Muslims have discovered. It will take a long while to discover the historical accuracy of the Bible, and the Truth behind it.

It may interest you, as it offers many great Muslim scholars that reveal how the Qur’an contains Biblical sources found in our Bible since it was written 2 millennia ago. You can confirm the validity of the Bible by also sourcing what the Dead Sea Scrolls recorded as Scripture and compare that to today’s Bible to see that it has remained the same.
The channel also has wonderful discussions and topics on Arabic, customs, historical peoples, as well as, a wide variety of other topics offered from Qur’anic scholars’ perspectives.

There is no possible way I could ever offer an exhaustive list of the vast sources both Christian and Islamic, as well as, Jewish and secular texts which offer a vast variety of topics and resources. If you truly want to learn about the “authenticity” of the Bible - it will take you countless hours dedicated to the study of Scripture!
I’m not interested in arguing or debating - as I leave that to others. What I’m simply trying to explain is that if you sincerely serious about discovering the Truth for yourself - you need to set aside your biases and devote yourself to honestly uncover the sources available. Being skeptical about one’s faith is healthy, as it helps us eliminate extreme, false views. It also helps one become versed in the various evidence and literature available to us like never before!

The Bible is also the only book in the world that starts from creation all the way through to the end. No other book or prophets are necessary as the Bible gives a full account and the direct bloodlines since the beginning to Jesus.
Quran tells you to believe in the Torah and the Gospels which teach that Jesus was born of a Virgin, never sinned, preached the “Good News” for 3 years, was Crucified and rose out of his tomb 3 days later. He died for our sins as he was the perfect sacrifice being without sin. So that’s why there is no more sacrificing of animals without a blemish as an act to be forgiven by God. Jesus is that sacrifice for all people. Yet the Quran denies this while telling you to believe the very Gospel that Jesus preached.
It is more than obvious that the Quran is inaccurate. As it does not line up with the Torah, Old Testament, or New Testament. Bible is verified by these books and the same stories aligning. If the Quran tells you this book is in addition to The Bible….why does it not align with the Bible. There were many witnesses in Jesus’ time. So that too can be verified. The Quran did not come until 600 years after the Bible and does not line up with the Bible. Mohammad was in a cave when he received this revelation. There are 0 witnesses to his claims. God always provides witnesses so no one can deny what he said.
The Bible is the complete compilation. The Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. All the prophets are in Bible. If there were more prophets to come the Bible would have prophesied it. Therefore there are no prophets past the Bible except False Prophets.
I pray God opens your eyes and you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior soon because Jesus said that no man makes it to the Father except through him and he also says anyone that believes a lie instead of truth will go to hell. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and anyone that rejects the truth will be sent to hell.

Most definably not, it has too much negative notions towards Jews, pagans and all unbelievers. How can there be any peace? It has a God who divides the world in Believers as best among men 98.7 and unbelievers as worst of creatures 98.6.
When Islam is put into practice by people and society, it produces peace even with the perceived negativity in the Quran which is really to produce a positive result. This is why Islamic societies experience more peace than non-Muslim ones. God being the Creator, He knows His creation best and what will produce chaos and what will produce peace.
God does not like that there are people who reject HIs prophets and disbelieve in Him like the Jews, pagans and unbelievers but the Quran is there to guide them TO worshipping God correctly, so that is what is positive. He is God. So He has the right to set the criteria for what He considers a believer and unbeliever and what people have to do to earn such titles. It's not up to humans, the creations but Him, the Creator.

At the end of the day, everything is just your mind. Your god, Jannah, hell all are in your mind only. When you sleep at night, deep sleep, when the mind shuts, nothing exist, this world don’t exist nor your God, paradise etc. That is the reality.

It is not what the People of the Book had or followed when it was originally revealed as many Christians can tell you, there is no "Gospel of Jesus". The Torah we have is also a 1000 years after Moses in a language we are not sure he spoke and the Bible tells us about the evil and wicked hands of the Israelites it came through. It also clearly has fabrications in it of immoral prophets and the Rabbis don't even know who wrote it.
