  • After getting the rebuilt parts back, Little Blue is back up and running. We’ve got a lot to catch up on now that we’ve got muscle again.

I enjoy the rawness of your videos. Refreshingly real n Short enough to gain information without being overwhelmed.

Thank you for posting this I wish I saw it sooner. I bought a 2014 LS XR3037 in 2014 and I really like it but I’ve come across this same issue with the bucket tilted to the left. I know it’s probably my fault for not getting centered on what I wanted to lift and when I asked my dealership how to fix it he just said put the high side on a stump and lift the bucket lol. I didn’t do that because I didn’t want to break the loader. I will though look into getting a new cylinder. Thank you.

My LS tractor was bought in 2014 and I have moved just about everything i tried to move and I also know that I bent the loader arm on one side by picking up a large oak stump. It sometimes is hard to get under some things without the bad side digging deeper. I also have a set of forks for it and the one side is a bit lower. If i were to buy another tractor it would probably be an LS. It has so many more options that the Deere and maybe other brands. I know the bucket is pretty tough.

Everyone always tried to do more than what they should have with these loaders on tractors, no matter the make of them. We forget they are not wheel loaders!!!

Interesting to see another Ls owner. We just bought a farm which came with an LT450D, and i also noticed it was a bit lop-sided. I couldn’t see anything specifically wrong with the structure, although feel I didn’t check it well enough now i’ve seen this video. But I levelled mine out by increasing the pressure of the opposing rear tyre to the low corner of the bucket. Obviously ‘fix’ isn’t the right word to use, but it seemed to compensate nicely for the situation I could put it through.

i dont know much about ls other than all the problem videos, i understand KU-BOATER and DEERE are 10-20k more in your size. i found TYM,branson and kioti to be lets say in the middle. i got a TYM T494 (comparable size and hp to yours) i carry around 2000lb logs with ease all day long. i also did a complete landscape job on a 175 x 80 ft lot (camp/house at lake) i use it like a dozer and have zero issues. the T494 ROPS was 30-31k with 2 pair hydraulics on rear and 3rd func. (steel hard lines to loader) and rim guard tires. about 6600lbs total i calculated.
i do have a heavy cutting edge on the 72'' bucket. maybe that loader arm was like that from factory or had a week point??? with the cross supports and bucket wouldnt you think there would be a second point of steel yield damage if you did it? just a thought.i viewed 100s of videos before i narrowed it down to the 3 brands above. that sucks to see all the ls quality issues on youtube. i wish you the best in the future. ps i went with mech. fuel inj. with the least sensors and computers possible. also no turbo. just telling you how i narrowed the mid grade brands down. thanks rich canadarago lake ny. (edge of cooperstown ny) it just sucks to see videos like this. i know how i would feel. best of luck my friend!

The only problem I had was probably year and half ago it kept blowing pto fuse it took my dealer a couple months to figure it out, they brought it back and trying to use pto it started smoking behind the instrument panel ended up being a dead-end electrical connector pinched in clutch linkage an easy under warranty fix, since then it's been great

I would ask the dealer if it is cover, won’t hurt to ask.

Annoyingly, i can’t seem to edit my silly previous erroneous comment. But I think I should have said that it needs to either be an increase in pressure on the rear opposite the higher side of the bucket, or/and decrease in pressure to the opposite corner of the low side. Hopefully as clear as mud or better!

So I'm not sure I understand is one side of the bucket sitting higher than the other side

I hear this garbage all the time. Theres a reason ls is cheaper. They are way lower quality and have a ton of problems. I almost bought one and man am i glad i spent the extra money on a kubota instead. My older kubota small 3030 has 760 hours on it with no issues. Ls ,tym ,and kioti also have major power loss at the pto compared to a green or orange tractor. Ive done everybit of what hes doing with a kubota with out these problems. When you add up all the repairs after 500 hours it ends up costing more to own the ls. Not worth it.

Thank you for your thoughts. I still like the little ls. I have had my fair share of issues. I do still believe that the damage that was done is mainly my fault. But you are right. There are better made brands out there. It's all in what you are willing to spend. For a small operation like mine, it just wasn't economical.
