- Ah if it isn't my favorite band. Original thought was to make a somewhat trippy and gonzo synth version of one of the most influential songs of my teen years with some friends who also caught Genesis fever at a young age. I also really wanted to go all out on a Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 6 / Prophet 08 so I picked something from the 80s. I called upon two homies from the camp of synth-trip band PALM DAZE here in Austin. We had a lot of fun and it ended up just being a love letter to the Genesis blokes. Duke 4ever.

You have done what I thought was impossible, you have covered a Genesis song and it is AMAZING. I've never gotten through an entire song when someone is trying to sing a Peter or Phil song. Well done!

Great cover of one of my favourite Genesis songs. I will have to look at YATTE because all I can 'see' when I listen is Tony Banks at his piano.

Was wondering when you were gonna cover Genesis since you've already did PC. This was awesome! Drums are super cool! It's nice that you can always capture that magic sound from the 80's and not only reproduce it. Thanks for showing us some more classics!

Well done! Some parts sounds almost better (!) than the original. I love Genesis. I’m not one of the fans that prefer one certain era of the band (although my favourite album is Wind & Wuthering). Duke is a magic album that grows in every aspect over the years. I’m impressed!👍

I'll contact you in a bit somehow, I also am hugely influenced by Genesis and Tony Bank. I'm primarily a drummer and keyboardist and I write things that are heavily inspired by Tony's chords mixed with Phil's pounding drum sound. Love it!
