    Maraming slaamat po sa review mo sa mga cheap amps. Dahil po dyan new subscriber po ako). Sobrang nakakatulong po sa mga diyers na nagbbuild ng speaker para madali po kami makapili ng magandang amp na gagamitin dahil po sa mga videos nyo. More subs to come and more power po sa channel nyo.

    Hey bro I have this chip and decided to use it for my subwoofer @24v and I also have a TDA2030A from an old radio along with a low pass filter using the NE5532. As per specifications TDA is around 18w and TPA around 60w but in my tests the TDA2030 performs much much better than the TPA. The bass is deeper, more "detailed" and even louder while that isn't the case with the TPA 3118. Any idea as to how that is possible? Both are using the same LPF. Thanks

      Bro, Tpa3118 can only go 25watts max RMS watts at 24volts 4ohms load. In other hand, TDA2030A is around 15watts RMS if it is single, But TDA2030a in Bridge mode is more powerful than the Tpa3118 ofcourse.

      When it comes to sound quality, TDA2030a is Class AB, which is Why it sounds better than the Class D tpa3118, my guess here is the Gain of the Tpa3118 ic, OR
      the input capacitor of the Tpa3118 acts as a High Pass Filter , that's why it sounds bad. I have designed a filter for my tpa3118 and it sounds very good. I'll probably upload in future weeks after editing

    I have a Dual voice coil subwoofer for which I am using this board with both coils in series (8ohm) using 70W 19.5V laptop charger
    but it starts clipping at same excursion no matter if I use series, single coil, or parallel coils.
    I am thinking about using same chip twice for both voice coils separately

      I tested the chip with 19watts RMS 4ohms load at 24volts.
      With preamp, it can do 25watts RMS at 4ohms.
      You're using 8 ohms so expect less power bro. Yes you can power each coil with 2 modules, Mind polarity

      Sure will take care of polarity.
      Do you think the board that says 2x30W TPA3110 will perform better than single TPA3118?

      I had a video about tpa3110.
      The manufacturer rating on the datasheet, majority test were with 10% THD.
      10% THD will be bad to listen to, but they did the power test with that condition, Probably for marketing strategy, the higher the watt rating, people will be attracted somehow😃

    Malakas yan sir kung kumpleto ang set up mo. Try mo mg 24 at 6amperes at pre amp na maganda at dalawang tpa3118 para stereo at mg add k ng mixer. Swabe ang tunog sa apat na d8 na speaker parang nka sakura ka

      Di naman sya kumakain ng mas mataas sa 2Amps boss sa 24volts pag 4ohms load, malakas talaga boss. Pero kaya dahil nababase mo ang lakas sa mga 502, ay dahil hindi naman po RMS power ang 500 watts ng 502.
      Tansa ko less than 100watts rms lang ang 502 boss.
      Natry ko din ng may preamp boss, 25watts RMS max na inabot ng tpa3118 na 28pins.
      Bibili pa ako ng 32 pin para i kumpara ko

      Yes OF course. It is Safe to use 4ohms load using 12volts battery. It has even a Reverse Polarity Protection diode.
      Just wait for the LED to lit up and You're Good to Go.
      It will deliver 10watts RMS of clean power with 4 ohms load at 12volts

      Yes bro.
      The only problem is that I am not sure if it is the authentic chip from Texas Instruments.
      I have no idea if there are Imitation chips circulating online.
      Because in the case of "TDA" chips (tda2050 etc.)
      Imitation chips are everywhere

      It is really hot at 4ohms.
      I don't think it will last for the long time using 2ohms load at higher voltage supplies.

    You should test it using music audio because in music it's not just 1khz will be feed to the amp almost all of the frequency will feed at the same time, not just 1khz, you got 10.8 watts in 12volts and 19.1 in 24volts using only one frequency! What about the measurement of other frequencies?

      It is the most common test frequency that companies provide ON THE DATASHEET sir.
      Yes audio bandwidth is pretty wide.
      But most amps can handle the full audio spectrum especially when using 8ohms load or any amps designed to a specific load impedance.
      If you check any Audio IC's Datasheet online.
      You can see commonly at 1kHz test frequency @ 1 or 10% distortion level.
      Im measuring the same test frequency but with cleaner audio.
      It is a full range though.
      If its a Subwoofer Amp.
      I'll test for 60Hz.

      It's pretty hard to find authentic chips online especially for asian regions .
      But the amp board itself is decent to use.
