Awesome video. Before seeing this vid, I never would have imagined how to fix the rotor in place in order to get the pawl assembly off.

The pawl housing here unscrews with ease. My Trueshopping one will not shift… Piston is secured with rope. Nut came off easy. But pawl housing won’t shift. Ideas?

So it's important that the piston is down while installing this for timing?

I think it's more for it to not move. It's as far as it can go.

On the ECHO SRM-225 and the SRM-225i trimmers are the i-30 and the i-75 starter assemblies interchangeable? --
In other words, can you replace an i-30 starter with the i-75 starter on the SRM-225 trimmer? (or vice-versa?) --- Thanks.

Thanks for your videos. I have a 52cc timberpro grass trimmer and multi tool. The starter handle gets ripped back painfullt out of my hand when trying to start. It seems to momntarily fire. Can only think the starter cup and pawls are rotating the wrong way- because the piston is firing on the wrong stroke or wrong time and causing it to run backwards. ANy clues how to fix? Flywheel key seems ok. Seems to start a couple of times ok from cold but then this problem starts. cheers
