I hope this helps others if they are misdiagnosed with migraines. I had gone to the hospital a few times with complaints of headache. They gave me a migraine cocktail and I felt a little better. Then they would just send me home. Recently I went to the ER again and instead of saying I had a headache I told them I felt like was having stroke. They did a CT with contrast and found that I had DVST.
