Would it be possible to do an episode on the 'how to' of getting into a training programme and fellowship in diagnostic and interventional radiology? Just an early stage med student very interested in doing both diagnostic and interventional rad when I free myself from the halls of the lecture theatre. Not sure what I should do to become a very strong applicant

    • @lavinaysingh

Mostly CTPA because it's an emergency and VQ not available always, also VQ needs more time to acquire

I had so many bowel obstructions it wasnt funny. Can you tell me why midgut malrotation is so often missed on CT ? For five CT's only two found the malrotation. And I think the second person went off the first finding and followed on there. Even after the Ladds surgery to try to remedy the situation, where all the small bowel is on the right of the midline and the colon on the left, Radiology still reported back and described the CT as "normal abdominal CT' . I suffered for 20 years because Radiology could not pick up on the Malrotation
