    Learn Kinetix with me: kinetix.academy/
    // 2023 CHANNEL UPDATE //
    I’ve moved on from Mobility Mastery (self fascia release) in order to focus on teaching Kinetix, my method of root cause discovery for pain and dis-ease that involves partner fascia release as a “diagnostics” (and regeneration) tool. Kinetix is a complete scientific methodology that I teach to friends, partners and professionals alike inside The Kinetix Academy.
    My other primary focus will be the launch and growth of a new podcast and Substack community called The Human Freedom Project.
    // NEW CONTENT ON CZcams //
    Sometime in 2023 I will return to CZcams with HFP podcast episodes and content created to help you know and understand yourself as a whole organism made of body, soul and spirit. This content will feature the Kinetix methodology, pain science, fascia secrets I’ve learned from 15+ years in private practice, neuroscience and evolving beyond the brain, trauma and the body, and more! I’m excited to go on this new adventure with you.
    ********** // VIDEO DESCRIPTION // *********
    I’ve said for years that if I could have people release just ONE area of fascia for head to toe PAIN relief it would be the the quads and quad hip flexors; and if I could have people release ONE area of fascia for TOTAL human health and well being, it would be the GUT fascia.
    There’s a massive connection between fascia, the nervous system, gut health, the gut brain relationship and hormones…if we listed everything we’d be here all day!
    Serotonin - the feel good hormone that is critical for well being, sleep and so much more - is created in the gut. If your gut health is compromised because of fascial restriction, then you may not be functioning at your best hormonally; your mood can be affected, your sleep can get wonky, and from here - anything can happen! Auto-immune issues can arise. Anxiety that started off here and there can become chronic. Depression can creep in.
    And as a result of your brain chemistry getting thrown off, pain can occur anywhere in your body because your brain needs you to realize something is WRONG and as the owner of your body, you’re in charge of taking care of things.
    This is an enormous topic, but what I most want you to understand is there is a LOT you can to help yourself with this one piece of information.
    There’s a strong connection between what’s happening in your GUT and your psychology - what is your gut trying to tell you?
    You can release your own gut fascia and mobilize your organs (they should be able to move fluidly inside the abdominal cavity to be totally healthy).
    You can stop sucking in your belly. This is a BIG one! We’ve been led to believe we should all have flat tummies. Well guess what? Nature doesn’t agree. The belly is meant to be relaxed. Everything in your abdominal cavity needs protection, but it’s going to feel SAFEST when YOU are relaxed. If you’re physically tensing your body up where your precious life giving organs are…then you’re cueing your body that you’re in DANGER! That signal is definitely going to make it to your brain. What do you think might happen from there?
    Those are just a few ways to love your up your gut fascia. What’s your favorite way to create optimal gut health? Share below, and if you had an “aha” from this video make sure to comment. I love hearing from you and will be commenting back so come say hi!

    Super excited to dig into my gut fascia; I think it's one of the big places for me, and your techniques are working so well on other parts! Really life changing.

    Excited to try this out! I will follow the links. I will definitely attest to gut brain/mental health connection. I had OCD and debilitating social anxiety before I realized I have celiac and removed gluten from my diet.

    Hi Elisha, I have just come across your channel. I have had issues with fascia for years, although I did not understand what the root of the problem until just recently.I am 57 years old and a recreational runner, competing in 5 and 10k distances.Despite running and competing at a reasonable level(sub 40 minute for 10K), I experienced tightness and restrictions around my back and chest, which made me fear that I had something sinister going on. I had check-ups at my doctors and everything showed up clear. The thing I could not understand was, that when setting off on a run, I would feel tightness and restrictive breathing, but as the run continued the tightness would ease and disappear. It wasn't until I came across articles on the fascia, that these symptoms made sense. For the last few years I have experienced knots or adhesions, for a while I was convinced that I had a hernia, but it was as if the knots moved around.I have had treatment from a therapist, but this is the first time that I have heard your method/s around treatments i.e. applying pressure with movement. Your video re the concentration of fascia in the gut makes so much sense, and I look forward to learning more from you.Kind regardsDavid Smith

    I've recently been diagnosed with sphincter of oddi dysfunction which causes severe upper right stomach pain, it started 1 year after gallbladder removal. Doctors don't know the exact cause but I'm pretty sure it's hormone related and facia. It's more common in women. When I'm stressed my spasms start.... I've heard the vagus nerve is a huge factor in stomach pain... Do you know how to massage or stimulate the vagus nerve?😀

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  Před 5 lety +2

      Hmmm...I don't have a lot of experience with this exact issue, but based on where the sphincter oddi is, and its relationship to the location of the gallbladder, it's possible there's some scar tissue creating either a compensation or energy block, or an actual physical restriction could be there. Fascia can contract independent of muscle tissue to protect you (as in during surgery), so maybe something in your abdominal area contracted and hasn't let go yet. I would recommend doing my abdominal fascia release, and add in some scalene and SCM work (you can search for those on this channel via the search function on the homepage). The vagus nerve is primarily up in the neck region. You can stimulate it with humming :)

      MobilityMastery yes I will defiantly try to release facia in my stomach area, I went for acupuncture recently and I was told it may be scar tissue and energy block like you mentioned, thanks you for your reply💜
