Valencia Valley Headwinds R/C, 1983

Footage shot in 1983 at the club field of the Valencia Valley Headwinds reformed into DVD/You/Tube. Location of that field was land leased from Newhall Land Company adjacent to the Boskovitch Brothers onion farm; also land leased from Newhall Land.. Plans to develop that area resulted in the closure of that flying site.. Several years later the area became the center of a huge tract of homes. The Headwinds combined with the Canyon Crosswinds and now leases land from Castaic Lake, in Castaic, California
