My polarizing takeaway: something that irks me about Nikita, Jeffree, and James Charles (allegations aside) is they keep chasing cis heterosexual males who are just not open to being with someone who is trans or male. I’m in no way invalidating Nikita’s struggles in the dating world as a trans person, nor am I saying she’s any less female than a cis female; but the men she seeks out feel differently. They may enjoy spending time with her and like dipping their toes in the water, but the end goal for them is a cis female. There are 7 billion people on this planet; I assure you, there are a plethora of men who are open to dating within the trans community and see trans women as no different than a cis woman. STOP trying to convert these Chads! That can’t be good for the self esteem and it’s a waste of time! These boys are in a place in their lives where they don’t care who’s driving the Maserati, as long as it’s picking them up from their studio apartment that they share with 4 other people. Once they can afford their own Maserati, they always decide they want a cis female in the passenger seat. STOP giving them a ride! Okay, end rant.
