    Thats right, I filmed the entire 30 minute decent to Kelingking Beach with a hand held vlogging rig, why? Because I'm bat shit crazy...
    Not exactly the best idea, but in all honesty, it wasn't the initial plan for the day. I did intend on hitting 4 locations on Nusa Penida, but because I did this trail, I lost 2 hours and the chance to check out broken beach and angel's billabong. So for your reference, set aside a bare minimum of 2 hours for this thing...
    And seriously, dont wear flip flops...
    Filmed using:
    GooPro Hero 7 black
    HD frame housing

    I visited the popular tourist points on west Nusa Penida in November 2019 (LOW season). On arrival to those places, we saw 100+ minibuses, each carrying 5 - 6 tourists. Forget everything about "hidden gems", "secret beaches" and "last paradise" that you might have read about on youtube. Sorry, you are yeeeaaars to late. The nature is still spectacular, but expect to share it with lots of others. If possible, try to do your trip early in the morning to avoid the hordes that will arrive around noon (specially for Kelingking Beach). Warning for bad and narrow roads on the island.

    How much time it takes to complete full trekking?

    • @UberMick
      @UberMick  Před 3 lety +1

      It took me the time of the video :p Depends on the number of people descending when you are, the more people there are the slower it gets due to the number of bottlenecks in the track.

      Haha, yep! I was blown away how crowded this joint was hey! And heaps of really shit tourists as well, like this one bloke, I was climbing back up about 2pm (peak heat of the day), got to the fork point half way up, completely short of breath and sweating my box off, before I even stop for a breather this peanut hands me his phone and asks me to take a fucking photo for him!?! Clearly in this state my filter was non existent, I said "are you fucking kidding me mate??? You gotta let me take a fucking break first hey...." So he turns to one of the people standing next to him doing fuck all, and they do it for him... DUUUUUDE what a bloody moron...

      @@UberMick Unfortunaly I think people like him (and day trippers from Bali) will take over Nusa Penida in the near future...another paradise will then be lost.
