Going Down to the Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida, 2023/05

It's a bit risky to go down to the beach, but it's definitely worth it. We made it! Try to wear a pair of well-fitting hiking shoes when descending. Uphill is easy, downhill is difficult. That's true.

up is way easier, you can pretty much just pull yourself up on the railings, and you see where you step. Down is much much harder since you also have to do everything in the legs

what time is it when you come down? before 11 am or after 11 am? the tides seem weaker than the last time I came here

It was about 9 or 10 in the morning. Indeed, the waves that day were smaller than I expected. I will definitely go there next time. :D

It's actually very easy to climb up, and you can climb to the top in about 15-20 minutes. Because you can use your hands when you go up : D

It took about 25 minutes to go down the cliff, I remember the go up might have been faster.

@@rachr1900 We went to Diamond Beach first, but the tide was not suitable and we didn’t go down the cliff, may be next time. It looks like the way down the cliff will be much easier.
I went down to Atuh Beach on the other side, which is also a very fun place. Except for being a little tired when going up. it was very esay.

The way down the cliff is very safe. There are handrails. Walk slower, but you will be a little tired. The swells at the beach are very strong and going into the sea is a very dangerous activity.

I will be honest, I have been on worse hiking trails than this in Gokarna, India and in Maharashtra forts. This is very doable!
