Really liking the removable shelves, recteq baby!
Please let folks know you need a #3 Phillips for all screws on your drill. A #2 will slip and strip. I had to go back and snug each with a #3 screwdriver. Thanks.
And please replace the 4 shelf screws with 17mm bolts. Near impossible to get a grip of the screw side from inside the shelf.
Also, there were additional lock washers. Might those have gone on the leg to shelf screws?

Just put mine together, it was smooth. The only thing is there was no paddings for the handles, might have been an older model or something, idk. Hopefully won’t burn my hands grabbing the horns.
It mentions tightening the shelf bolts with an included wrench, but I couldn't find the wrench.
I could not find the wrench either, haha I just used my own.

No wrench with mine either. Also missing some bolts/screws. For what I paid for this I shouldn’t have to go to hardware store. Going to return it.
No wrench, just use a 17mm socket. But the video avoids the impossible angle of the screws from the shelf side. PLEASE replace these 4 with bolts you can get a wrench on!
@@mikegriswold1718 Why not put them in the opposite way, so you can use an electric screwdriver from inside the grill? That also gives you something to “hook” the shelf on and you can hold it there with your knee when putting your nutz on the screws
If you love a lot of blind connections and frequently misthreading screws, you will have a barrel of fun with this assembly. Built like a tank, but not with ease of assembly in mind.
Agreed. Was WAY harder to assemble than it should be.
Is this Flagship optional shelf the same as the one that comes standard on the 1250? Sure wish this one had the shelf included.
I see the Rt-700 is gone off the website. Will there still be parts/accessories available for it in the long run?
