Affliction in Manisa Palace!
İbrahim Pasha gets the man who catcalled him endungeoned for him to be executed. Meanwhile Ömer who leads the incidents continues to provoke people. People attemps to revolt and walks towards İbrahim Pasha's house. However İbrahim Pasha has no thought of stepping back. It is brought a lawsuit with Ebussuud's leadership for the things have been done to İbrahim Pasha. Ebussuud listens to the both side and makes his decision. But this decision is something neither Hürrem nor İbrahim expects.
Meanwhile, Suleiman questions himself. Things that Hürrem's spy Gülizar told him prey on his mind. Did Hürrem really order Prince Mustfa's execution? Or Did İbrahim set a trap with Gülizar for Hürrem?
In the mean time, Manisa Palace mourns for Prince Suleiman. However, h-the sudden news they get relieves them. One of Mustafa's odalisques is pregnant. When Fatma learns this, she gets devastated once more. Fatma acts aggressively and loses her sanity.
Meanwhile, Prince Mehmet decides that Nurbahar will abort the baby. Mihrimah gets pleased about this. The preparations gets started but Mehmet changes his mind after a while. However, he is late.
Hürrem asks Ayas Pasha for his support against İbrahim. Ayas Pasha finds what Hürrem wants in a short time. Hürrem prvides Suleiman to learn that. Suleiman gets shocked but he makes a decision about his heartfelt companion. However, he needs to consult Ebussuud Efendi.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

The only enemies of Hurrem who deserve big respect for being equally as smart as Hurrem: Śhah Sultana and lbrahim Pasha. You can hate them for being against Hurrem, but you are amazed with their smartness.
Totally right. Sah Sultan was the only smart sister of Suleiman. Unfortunately like Ibrahim even though she was a prominent figure in his rise of power but she was a victim of fame that bring arrogance inside her that became her downfall just like Ibrahim.

I think one of the show's biggest missed opportunities was choosing to have Shah be one of Vaild's doughters and not Suleiman's half sister. It would have been amazing to see her legitimately side with Hurrem. Have her be one of the few people to release the kind of person Ibrahim really was. Have Mihrimah and Esmehan actually be friends.

Probably the best female antagonist of Hurrem also the actress is amazing I have seen her in many other products and never disappoints 👍👍
Yes. Deniz cakir was an excellent choice for the role of Sah-Huban Sultan.
And as for Sah herself...if we had the same rank, if she was a bit younger (somewhat between 20-25) and not so cold, greedy and arrogant, I'd love to go out on a date with her

@Leo during her more sane days, Hatice makes a fairly pleasant company. But given the eye with which I study her behaviour...she reminds me of my late mother. It'd would have been kind of weird taking your mom out on a date right 🤣🤣

Şah is my favourite of Hürrem's opponents and probably the smartest character on the show.
Mine as well. I didn't like her coldness, greed and arrogance, but I respected her intelligence, rationality and levelheaded approach to things. The best opponent Hurrem could ask for. She certainly helped her stay in shape after all of her recent victories
Hurrem and Shah Huban were equally smart, but Hurrem was slightly more deep thinker. That’s why she was always one step ahead Shah, almost always ☺️

Now I understood the main reason behind Suleyman's whole family being hostile towards hurrem. Actually, they saw her as a threat to their dynasty because they thought that if the lineage would continue from her sons then she would replace their thousands of years old traditions, values and customs with her European values ( Everybody knew she was a convert of European descent). Also she was overly cleaver and wise so this also made them suspicious of her that once she put her son on throne, she would eventually rule the empire, exploiting her status for her own gains, overshadowing the real ruler i.e the Sultan

Quick challenge: you're free to choose one character from whatever series you've watched. Who do you think is the ideal boyfriend/husband for Sah;
My personal pick is Stannis Baratheon from game of thrones. He's loyal, dutiful, diligent and competent. These traits connect well with Sah's desire to have nothing but excellence and professionalism in her company/service.
On other fronts, Stannis too is emotionally distant. And not too inclined to perform his martial duties unless absolute need. In other words, he has the exact same approach to these things as Sah does. Which means that for as long as Sah respects him, he won't cause any problems.
Finally, Stannis is determined and unyielding. Which means he won't be bullied by Sah and can rein in her arrogance just fine. Especially if he outranks her as King.

Yes, I agreed. Stannis Baratheon is indeed a perfect match for Shah, it was like two rational people married to each other. I think there would be less drama for them, as both of them will be focused on their jobs. The potential drawback is just probably a lack of emotional intimacy as both of them are logical people who prefer logic over feeling.
But Shah, as a mother actually can somehow fake it for their children. It will be fine I guess.

As I can imagine how Shah was drawn to Ibrahim because of his intellectual side, I think Shah Huban will be drawn to Stannis Baratheon too Shah and Stannis develop a thick skin and used it to become a stronger person, Stannis on the other hand was respected because of his capability.
Both had the middle-child syndrome, they are favored because of their siblings. They will fit together because of their past.

This plot arc is so disappointing. Shah was the best of the sultanas.
I wish the writers had made Shah align with Hurrem because that alliance would have been serious Girl Power.
Or, they could have skipped all the Hatice and Fatma drama and just pitted Hurrem against Shah as the primary antagonist.
Hatice and Fatma are silly geese. Shah actually has intelligence, cunning and depth.

If Ibrahim had married Shah sultan instead of hatice he wouldn't die and , as much as i love Hurrem, i don't think she'd win. Shah and Ibrahim are both equally smart and sneaky. They'd have won long ago and chances are Ibrahim wouldn't cheat on her at all. Which eventually would change Niagars life as well for the better
