Khaaja is typically made up of maida and there is even another version of khaaja called "fenma" it is way more lighter than khaaja, I don't know if it is made in entire Bihar or not but I am a native of Khagaria district of Bihar and "fenma" is a thing there. BTW khaaja or fenma both tastes amazingggg 😍

I love soan papri and I am from West Bengal... We all eat sweets very much at this time not just because of festival because of nolen gur is back after 1 year. My grandma makes dishes like nolen gurer payesh, naru, pitha etc. And me and my mom literally fights for those. I recently hide that one container which grandma says to hide from mom. And i literally love that feeling and it really feels like Family❤️🙏🏼

1.Ukdi Che Modak (Rice batter steamed sweet modaks every Maharashtras festive favourite dish... especially in ganeshotsav)
2.Paatoli (Haldi leaves stuffed and steamed with rice batter and sweet jaggery and shredded coconut.)
and
3. Piyush (a chilled thick lassi type beverage made with shrikhand and added traditional nuts like charoli etc. and it's milky )

Khaaja is from Bihar I doubt that. I think it's from Odisha. It's a popular bhog of Lord Jagannath. Made of maida and sugar syrup fried in Desi ghee.
