Love a good 7500 chopper....love the old stuff cuz its easier to work on. Although im surprised the trucks dont have grain doors on them

There is nothing like the sounds of and engine under load in a forage harvester. I had a 5830 with the 619 and that sounded AMAZING and now I have a 6850 and that as well sounds awesome under load.

Thank you for another great silage video BTP. My friends make fun of me cause I still tell stories about the 7500 model chopper when it was the new big thing. The week of Hurricane Katrina we cut over 14,000 tons of corn silage with a 7500 and that record still stands in the county I live in even tho guys are running 7950s and 7980s now

How does the type header used here compare price wise with the more traditional long snout types, for the same number of rows cut on each pass ?
Also, does this type of header confer any advantages over the more traditional type of header ?
