  • This is a gorgeous stitch, perfect for scarf, hat, sleeves on sweaters, a chunky blanket would look amazing as well. It’s very easy to work, here are the instructions in the flat:
    Cast on a multiple of 2 sts
    Set up row: knit all stitches
    R1: k1, k1b (knit in the stitch below) * repeat from *to to the end and k1
    R2: p1, p1+loop *, repeat from *to to the end, k1
    These 2 rows form the pattern, repeat for as many times you need.

    I just wanted to take a moment to thank you! I had never knit honeycomb brioche and even after watching six or so tutorials i couldn’t figure out what was wrong! Or even if i just needed to block it and i was knitting it properly! Then i decided to give it one more chance and watched your video, the ONE thing i wasn’t doing right was knitting two together through the back loop! Nobody had mentioned that and it completely fixed my problems. I loved that tutorial so much i came again to learn how to knit it in the round. So thank you soo much!❤❤❤

    I love this! Thank you for such a great tutorial. This is perfect for a hat. Question for you... have you identified how to decrease in pattern?

  • @MissWhiskers
    @MissWhiskers Před 4 lety +2

    Your pattern says that one should have a multiple of two stitches but when one continues reading, it becomes clear you need an extra stitch. How else can you end with a k1? I think it's ashame that you're not clarifying this, as your video is, in all other regards, very informative.

      This threw me, too.... You can't begin and end with K1 if you cast on an even number. :(

      So I need an odd number of stitches then? I guess that's fine bc I dropped a "scarf" stitch and have no idea how to pick it up. I guess I'm frogging the little bit I've done so far.

    Is it possible to ladder down to correct a mistake in honeycomb brioche?
