Easy job, this demonstration is perfectly enough for anyone to do this. Thanks. I only inspected my oil pump to find it in mint condition just to check why so little oil is on my chain, cleaning out the oil ducts and using a sharp chain to prevent dust clogging was my fix.

Yes, in most cases must be cleaned only the oil pump and oil line, but sometimes even that didn't help. In that case, the pump must be replaced.

Wow, my clutch is really stuck. I cannot get it to come loose, even with a breaker bar.

My saw stopped working, so I brought it in and the next morning it was sitting in a puddle of bar oil. Does a bad pump make it stop working as well?

no. the oil pump can not interfere at the proper operation of the engine.

Use a sharpie instead of the string it works better

Hi, you must see from where exactly the oil leaked. If all oil from the reservoir is gone maybe some pipe is damaged.

Leaks could be from pump, from tank, or from the side of the case. Remove metal plate (that is behind the bar) to get a better idea of the oil's source.
Husqvarna, among others, are known to leak a small amount of oil while sitting. If only a small amount is leaking, cleaning the area well can reduce it. If a lot of oil is leaking you may have more problems. Best wishes!

Leak most likely from the 2 black pressure seals. If pump works and looks good , just replace the 2 pressure seals. That why I'm shocked he put a new pump in and didn't apply new seals also, now the old pressure seals may leak being its not going to be contoured to the new shaft of the pump rod.

Shouldn't you have cleaned out the route the oil takes to the chain? Wouldn't the impact been easier and maybe done a better job on the clutch. I'm not trying to be a SA I was just thinkin'.....
