Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I see the battle frontier as a way for casual players to enjoy competitive with out actually needing to go to this complex events and stuff.

@@holm9832 That, and it also puts a new spin on Pokemon battles by introducing unique gimmicks to battles, like the knockout/point based fights in the Battle Arena, the tournament brackets in Battle Dome (basically a vanilla version of World Tournament from B2W2 before it was even a thing) or the dungeon crawler-esque aspect of the Battle Pyramid. That the NPCs use competitive strats is just the icing on the cake.
@Snails You could legit cut out the entirety of the Battle Frontier from Emerald and make it its own game.
And dont forget they start using legendaries as fucking well scared me outta my shit when i was younger
It gets scary when the randomly generated Factory teams start actively using high-end competitive strategies specifically countering your setup.
Turns out that the entire Frontier draws from a specific list of sets, and each Trainer you face pulls from a subset of them. There's spreadsheets for this stuff, so with some observation you can literally figure out the entire movelist of what you're facing and can figure out a strategy from there.
The hardest part of the Frontier is actually getting used to the bots strategies.If the Frontier Brains actually had different sets and strattegies for the same Pokémon or even entire team changes like the Battle Tree in Sun and Moon, it would be literally the hardest facility in the Pokémon games entire history.
Double Team, Quick Claw and Bright Powder hax isn't competitive. But yes, they're EV trained like competitive.

The battle factory made me rage so much
For anybody who hasn’t played gen 3 the battle difficulty correlates to the amount of trumpets in the theme song. This challenge is therefore extremely hard

Agreed. Played every Pokemon game to date and beaten them tp their fullest extent. The gen 3 Battle Frontier is the ONLY challenge I have yet to fully conquer
I've beaten them all, it's not easy, the entire physic engine behind it and the AI are different than the main games, yeah that's right Nintendo games have at least two different physic engines.

Unconfirmed. All we know is that Anabel had to defend the Battle Tower. Aside from that, we have no idea what the fate of the original universe was. All this stuff about it being destroyed is rumors and scaremongering.
Paradox Master The Battle Frontier has thousands of level 100 Pokemon including Legendaries, I'm positive nearly all the trainers there are alive. Besides, it would be disrespectful to older fans to tell them that the universe they've been cherishing since FRLG is destroyed.

Agreed Zinnia battle was very anticlimactic it just makes the battle too easy such shame since her theme was an absolute banger. Battle Mansion is just terrible nothing to give it a cool spin like they did with battle frontier to they actually had different sections that the challenges were actually you know “challenging”. We even can’t even rematch gym leaders in oras which is also disappointing.
Amber_ Amour This!! Her battle theme blew everything else out of the water for me, even some of the most nostalgiafest stuff from gen 1&2. Still my favorite though I gotta admit the Gym Leader battle theme in SwSh is really catchy

Actually, i heard it a lot. The battle Pike was my favorite back then and it only takes until the second challenge in a row to get to Lucy.

You know these battles are hard when a speedrunner takes around 20 hours to collect all the gold symbols from these guys. I managed to collect a few silver symbols, but never a gold one.

It's a shame most people never hear it in game due to how brutally hard the Battle Frontier is.
It’s happy but also intense! It’s telling you like “hey, these guys are no fucking joke, but you can do this” it’s truly one of the best themes in all of Pokemon, the part at 1:15 is ecstasy

When it comes to the anime it's pretty much always stupid to rationalize things based on video game logic. At least he's in the finals in the Kalos league and may actually win for once.

Ash better not act like he doesn't know who Anabel is in the Sun and Moon anime when she comes in. HE SHOULD KNOW HER ALREADY.
Idk there is supposedly two universes in the games: one where mega evolution exists and one where it doesn't. The anime depicts both universes, introducing mega evolution in XY. I personally think that the anime also split and the Ash in XY is not the same Ash as in previous seasons, so that when Anabel shows up she will recognize Ash (probably a flashback through her amnesia) but he won't recognize her at all (assuming that the Anabel that appears traveled through the Ultra-Wormhole from the other universe).

I like how Noland and Thorton represent two different eras of factory workers. Noland is the old style with a focus on manual labor and Thorton is a more modern take with him being more based on an tech engineer.

Still the hardest post game content in any pokemon game. Silver medals were time consuming and achievable. Gold symbols were near impossible without hacks

Yeah Werster finally got it and then someone else beat him not too long after right? I love these battles in the series because the music and atmosphere of the battle frontier made us appreciate the Pokémon universe in a different way still makes me wonder what else is out there we haven’t seen yet.
Argenta in Pokemon platinum was worse (170 victories against 140 ones for Lucy).

I love that they could have used any existing in game battle theme for these guys but they made this track instead, that bit of extra effort really sells how different they are in difficulty from the base game. This song says "here is a real challenge"
It took me until my 17th birthday, after learning how EVs worked and building a competitive team, after coming back to my first ever Emerald play through, to beat all seven. A play through well over a decade in the making.

Noland is interesting because you'll never know what he's going to use.
Greta was easy to sweep by stealing her points with stalling.
Tucker was a pain in the ass to get to, but I eventually got to him and managed to beat him.
Lucy's Shuckle is easy to trick with Taunt. Gave me plenty of time to set up for her Milotic.
Spenser was and interesting one. The battle was pretty much up to luck.
Brandon is sheer awesome, using legendaries all over the place. The wasn't too tough to beat, though, with the items and good choices made.
Anabel is a beast that looks like a beauty. She has one tough team even on the first round, even using a freaking Entei.
***** Argenta's Pokémon are of a random type, so you can't decide it. And for me, the most annoying thing at the Battle Hall was to get to Argenta in the first place. 169 battles, my Arceus...

The Battle Maison in ORAS is horrid compared to the battle factory, in the Battle Factory you didn't make it to the last few fights to be destroyed by legendaries that always land critical hits and dodge hits

It was possible to lose the Battle Factory? That was always the easiest of them for me because I didn't need to train my own mons and the AI was dumb.

It’s 2023 and I just started playing my PKMN Emerald again. Sadly, the only two frontier brains I’ve had the privilege of challenging was Lucy and Tucker. Now that I’m older and have more patience, I hope to be able to challenge them all.

It was probably to explain how Anabel in S/M was from the Battle Frontier in the Non-Mega Universe (Pokemon Emerald), and also because in the original R/S there was no frontier yet and they kept it that way in OR/AS. I think they are beginning to emphasize that Pokémon is split into two universes and are slowly building the lore.

i've been playing emerald for about 9 years, and i never knew Spenser's staff had Kyogre's fin symbol on it...
You should read the Pokémon Adventures manga. It explains a lot why that staff has the Kyogre symbol on it

Getting every Gold Symbol from the Battle Frontier (in Emerald) was by far the hardest thing I've ever done in any video game I've ever played. I got screwed soooo many time there by the RNG. For example, using Explosion against a Snorlax, which missed because its Bright Powder activated. Knocking out Snorlax with Explosion was the only way for me to win. Also, losing because my last Pokemon was out-sped due to Quick Claw activating (10% chance), and then hit by a critical (I lost multiple times because of this). Another example -- losing because accurate moves like Overheat missed multiple times in a row (with 90% accuracy), against Pokemon with no evasion boost. Honestly, I wonder if the Battle Frontier in Emerald (specifically the Battle Factory) was rigged in the game's favor.

It probably was rigged against players. While not a part of the Battle Frontier, the opponent spammed protect 4 times in a row for me in trainer's hill and you are timed in that facility. Then later, I ran into a Shiny Milotic...in a battle facility (the one run by Lucy) and you cannot capture any Pokemon there.
RNG here is ridiculously rigged, with the addition of some controversial moments (A Snorlax attacked quicker than my alakazam, this was the most WTF moment to me)

Loved the battle frontier. It served as a great competitive strat "boot camp".
Pike Queen Lucy has that narcissistic evil look that I seem to like for some reason. Same reason I like Petrine from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

Can't forget the first time i heard this. I used to borrow my big brother's Gameboy SP to play Pokemon Emerald on it, he watched me go through the Battle Factory until i made it to Noland, and boy, i'll never forget how excited my brother was and how beautifully my heart was racing when this theme started playing as we both saw the Factory Brain for the very first time.

One of the coolest themes in any game imo. It really hammers home the stakes you are up against when these battles were easily some of the hardest challenges any Pokémon title had to offer.

I sometimes got a Blissy that spammed double team and softboiled to dodge attacks and heal up so it could win the struggle game. It would be a slow, torturous way to get you to lose if you don't give up or don't swiftly faint it with a fighting type move.

The Battle Frontier basically made Rudy and Sapphire pointless when compared to Emerald. Besides getting Ruby to complete the Pokedex by catching Zangoose and Roselia, you don't even need Sapphire anymore considering Emerald has everything it had but better.

I was so proud of my Armaldo for defeating Spencer on its own. I was afraid it would use a move that wouldn't be so smart (it was adamant nature purely by chance) and I ended up crushing him. It was also so crazy when I fought in the Battle Pyramid and battled Regi vs Regi and just barely won by paralyzing Regice with my own Regice. I still have to beat the Battle Tower but so far I've almost beaten the Battle Frontier. As a child I made it to only Noland and Lucy and barely beat them but it feels good to finally conquer the other Brains!
