i bought one, blue dial,before the sale, $150 canadian dollars, it did not last even 5 minutes, i didnt even get to size it. Nothing wrong with the watch, the lady of the house decided she liked it, and wanted it, so i sized it for her, she loves it. i am not too sad though, it made her happy....(note to self,dont buy anymore light blue watches! )
Good to see this brand coming out with something worthwhile again! Less than $100 seems to be their wheelhouse and This looks like a great proposition for someone who is just getting into watch collecting… Thanks Jody

🤡🤡Not only that- a friend of mine paid good $$ to have his Rolex Submariner overhauled at his local Authorized Dealer. Took the watch home. It flooded out in the bathtub.
Jody, the reason is that version 1 clasp wasn't able to clear the rivets when adjusting the micro adjust. I bought the guilt version 1 and that is the issue with it, I couldn't adjust using the clasp, so I had to take links to find the proper fit. So the second clasp "the upgrade", clears the rivets for the micro adjust, but seems cheap and flimsy instead of redo the first clasp properly or finding a better one. Anyway, another excellent vid!
For a “Dive” watch, it’s a bit too small at 38 mm. 42 mm would make more sense for visual acuity, especially under water. 👍🇨🇦. And the Tiffany Blue is the winner, especially in the lume department.
I'll be buying a few watches to pull apart and start playing with modding.. cheaper than buying all parts separately 😃 But this one won't make the cut.. I'll get an skx look a like 👍
To me, it shows Cadisens attention to detail, for sending you the watch that perfectly matches some of the "flowers" on your shorts ! They should be praised for this alone. Now you just need to get a pair in Black and Gilt to match the version one lol.

That is a real peach of a $100 automatic diver. if I wasn't funneling all of my money into watch tools I'd go for it, especially with that tiffany blue!
I'm actually going to buy my younger brother an automatic to wear daily. If will be his 1st automatic. I'm also getting him a Seiko srph25k1. Addiesdive 1970 is still my go to $100 dive watch. I have one myself and glad to wear it when possible.
I like the milled strap/clasp don't forget the mainstream brands seiko, citizen, casio (the real holy trinity) etc, don't even use them at that price point, ushally need to spend at least 3 times more
I got the San Martin. The bezel does not align. So that’s that. It kills me every time I look at it. Only watch with aligned bezel I got is a heimdalr. So check those out too.
Nice little watch. Personally I like the blue, maybe because I don't have this colour in my collection. Though, I like the look of the blue Moonswatch from Mr. Pagani's House of Design 😉 It's the first Pagani I might actually buy!
I got it a while back and it looked great... until it didn't. The bezel on mine was really not the greatest quality. The insert was FAR from centered and the bezel itself had about a .5mm gap on the bottom where you could push down on to be flush with the watch. Wore it, liked it, but with a little bit of an accidental push upwards on the bezel, it popped out. It wouldn't be a big deal if the bezel wasn't IMPOSSIBLE to put back on. The mechanism seems simple, but the spring has to line up PERFECTLY and it can't be done without the proper tools. Even said by Cadisen themselves after messaging them. Everything else about the watch was perfect, but the bezel is really what makes this watch. I've heard many people with no problems with it, but also a concerning amount regarding the quality of the bezel. Just my experience though.
I like a diver's extension. I actually SCUBA dive and it is nice to be able to easily wear it over a wet suit. BTW, leather strap on a diver is a faux pas. You can't dive or even swim with leather.
I like the diver extension because sometimes I prefer to wear the watch over my sleeve in order not to have to pull the sleeve back everytime I look at the watch.
These do look nice. I almost got one... It was between this one and their Seasmaster 300 homage. I ended up getting the later. I just love the sandwich dial. The bezel on that is also 90 click as well. I also don't understand why its a thing either.
It is a nice looking watch, especially the blue version, but I would prefer a quartz movement (ideally mecha quartz solar powered), do you guys know if there is something like that on the market?
I like just about everything about besides the color of the hands and the indexes. The blue dial and the sort of aged looking indexes and hands makes me feel… odd. Might just be me!
Hey Jody. Please tell me, what´s the point if the bezel has 60, 90 or 120 clicks ? Is there any advantage or disadvantage. Especially with this budget watches ?
That lume color clashes with the dial color on the tiffany. The black wouldnt be bad though. At the very least would make a good case for a dial and hand swap.
I hope they make a 1953 Submariner into this case. I think that at this point in time, if you're going to take the Submariner-copy way you should make it 'different' somehow.
Jody, for the price not to bad and for some reason the blue doesn’t bother me so much as on previous watches. Maybe it’s the size like you said, but I do feel there are way to many watches coming out in this color.
With $30.00 dollars in china you can buy 30 cases of 24 cans beer or 24 large pizzas., there is a comparison on how much value those watches are.............is it worth it ?
I guess depends on the country it's being shipped to. In Europe I can find thia model between 130-170$. Some cheaper ones that should cost under 50 in your other video go for double. But oh well
I got a Cadisen version of a Tissot PRC200, cool watch with a ISA swiss parts chrono movement and sapphire for less than 40 bucks. It also has that horrific clasp with a diver's extention, but only two micro-adjust holes, so pointless in a 50m WR piece, made even worse by the fact the bracelet and clasp are 19mm to comply with the Tissot they were copying. For every step forward they make Cadisen stumbles back an inch or two.
Nice looking watch! Ohhh I hate that internal microadjust, I don't have a tool small enough to adjust it. I have a little tool for springbars but, it just can't get in there. Or maybe I need a loupe or something, can't see. Anyway, thanks Jody!
I'm giving this watch a big thumbs up but....I like the Invicta 1953 better. Maybe the specs aren't as good. No Sapphire crystal. No milled clasp. Cadison has a more original style rivitt bracelet. On the other hand the Invicta looks more like the original. It has the pencil style hands. The bezel is clean, it doesn't have the minute marker track. The hollow end links and pressed metal clasp are actually correct to the original Rolex from 1953. Overall I just think the Invicta is a better looking watch and looks more like the original.
Black does look good on leather, as do a few other divers, I just can't bring myself to put a diver on leather. And no....before anyone asks, I'm not constantly tripping down to the hulks or sea beds, it's just an ocd thing.
That's big more me. I have a Pagani Hulk in that size. Male end link as well, so seems even bigger. Feels so solid, though. The finish just lovely, but also a finicky clasp.

I believe they had an issue with the clasp in the V1 - the bracelet rivets prevented using the micro adjusts. That''s probably the big upgrade in V2.

The Rolex team that came up with the Submariner’s design back in the 50’s was God Tier. Seventy years later, it’s still unbeatable. 🙏🏻

Great value there, my value vintage diver slot is filled by the Invicta '53 but this is a discount beast on a par with the Steeldive 1970

The Pagani design pd1733 might be something you should look at. It looks close to perfect online.

Literally $99 Rolex. Great movement, sapphire glass. Put it on a decent looking strap….you become a styling gentleman.
